13 Reasons To Get Excited For Halloween

It might only be October 3rd, but I am super duper excited for Halloween. It is never too early to get pumped! Bring on the fun festivities.

1. Halloween Parties

No matter what age you are, you know you still enjoying dressing up and becoming your favorite character. Plus, there is awesome spooky decor, and fun party foods.

2. CANDY

Heck yeah! So what if you are a college student or a parent, you still love candy. I mean who doesn't love chocolate? Or if you are one of those people that likes candy corn, well then go crazy.

3. The Classic Horror Movies

Like "Halloween", "Nightmare On Elm Street", "Friday the 13th". This is the time for the horror movie fans to get pumped! However, there are no horror halloween movies. I mean how could one forget "Casper", "Hocus Pocus", and my all time favorite "Halloween Town."

4. Fall Flavors & Smells

Oh yes ... It is PSL season! *YAY* As well as Apple Cinder and Pumpkin Pie candles! Bath & Body Works, this is your season!

5. Haunted House

Now this is my all time favorite Halloween activity. I love getting scared out of my mind, yet I still know that I am safe because the actors aren't allowed to hurt me.

6. Pumpkin Carving

Ah this is a wonderful family activity to do, as well as roommate. No matter who are you carving pumpkins with, it is so much fun. It's an added bonus that when you carve the pumpkin it smells so good. One of my favorite things to do it throw the guts at my friends and/or family... So watch out.

7. The Corn Maze

Yeah... Corn fields are just plain scary even in board daylight, now when you add jump scare actors, as well as so blood... it will be a popping experience.

8. Seeing Children Dressed Up

How can you be in aww whenever you see a baby dressed up as a cheeseburger, taco, transformer, disney princess, a milkshake or even the poop emoji. Who cares? They are still the most adorable thing ever! Literally cannot wait whenever I have children (that will be a few years from now) to dress them up for Halloween.

9. The Decorations

Okay... So this is also one of my favorite things about Halloween. I love to buy both cute and creepy decorations. No matter where you go through out your day, you are bound to see Halloween decorations the moment the calendar turns to October 1st.

10. TV Shows That Have Halloween Themed Episodes

Especially when they creators make the opening credits Halloween themed as well. I mean I like when TV shows take an extra creepy twist (see what I did there?).

11. Gives You A Reason To Scare

Okay, so I love to scare and get scared. October is my favorite time to play pranks on my friends and family. BEWARE! And let the pranks begin!

12. Perfect Weather

It is that time of year when it starts to get chilly at night but you can smell the s'mores and bonfire smoke in the air. I cannot wait!

13. Costumes

I saved the best for last. I love dressing up and will always dress up for as long as I am alive.
