It's happening. Donald Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee for president of the United States of America. If you ask any right-minded person (that leans toward either side of the political spectrum), they would tell you that this is the saddest political moment for the U.S. in the past decade. A man who has built has campaign on xenophobic, misogynistic and bigoted rants is the current, and only, frontrunner for the Republican party.
Thinking about the possibility of a Trump White House makes my blood boil. How is no one concerned that Trump has had zero experience governing a group of people? And to respond to any Trump supporters who inevitably read this article: No, owning a business that employs people does not count as governing. Giving Donald Trump the presidential power to make critical decisions that would effect millions of Americans would not only be a mistake but could lead to the destruction of our country as we know it.
That being said... Here is a list of people who are equally and/ or more qualified to be president than Donald Trump:
1. Governor John Kasich.
Remember that time that 17 people ran against one another to be the Republican nominee for president? Somehow Governor Kasich managed to survive in the race longer than any of his non-Trump competitors, but he didn't have the momentum to beat the Donald. Kasich was arguably the only candidate worth voting of this election cycle, and it's sad to see someone with actual experience lose to such a buffoon.
2. Chef Gordon Ramsay.
At least when Chef Ramsay screams offensive things at people it's to motivate them to be better. Trump may say he wants to "Make America Great Again," yet he has just made America more divided than ever before. Ramsay would just scream at everyone till they shut up and got some real progress done in Washington.
3. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Obviously, these two would run and win, becoming our nation's first team of co-presidents. These ladies may not have experience in Washington, but at least they can make jokes about how things are going at the White House. Tina and Amy provide the jokes; Donald is the joke.
4. Any late-night TV show host.
Stephen Colbert. John Oliver. Seth Meyers. Jimmy Fallon. Larry Wilmore. Trevor Noah. James Corden. Any of these guys could do a better job as president than Trump. They understand and present information to the public better than any candidate in this cycle.
5. Daenerys Targaryen
Any true "Game of Thrones" fan knows that Daenerys is the only viable candidate for the Iron Throne. She has the experience to get the U.S. back on track. This Mother of Dragons would not stand for the racist and misogynistic words that Trump speaks on a daily basis. She'd release her dragons on Trump in .5 seconds. His tan may be "burnt orange" now, but wouldn't be for long.
6. Captain America.
He fought against the Nazis (AKA war veteran). Check. He has conservative views. Check. He hits the minimum age requirement for president...by a lot. Check. He's a superhero. Check, check. The man is more than qualified to lead the Republican party to victory come November. Too bad he's stuck in the pages of a comic book.
7. Bobby Newport.
He may have only ran for city council because his dad wanted him to, but that didn't stop Bobby from giving his best shot during the election. At least Bobby ran on a platform of happiness and positivity, unlike Trump who gotten to the top by feeding off the hatred of Americans towards different groups of people.
8. Olivia Pope.
Every Thursday, we trust Olivia Pope to fix the problems facing our great nation from our TV screen. I have much more confidence in a woman who was literally sold for millions on the black market over a man who made millions by shipping American jobs overseas and taking advantage of loopholes in the law!
9. Beyoncé.

10. Ryan Gosling.

11. Jennifer Aniston.
See reasoning for #10.
12. Ryan Seacrest.

13. Mickey Mouse.
