Finals are coming in just a couple weeks, and we're all drowning in papers and projects. It can be easy to forget that Christmas comes in just a month! Here are some ways to keep your Christmas spirit alive in the midst of all the stress.
1. Wear Christmas sweaters as often as you can.
2. When you get your coffee in the morning, get a peppermint shot or other seasonal flavor.
3. Put up lights or a mini tree in your dorm room.
4. During study breaks, put a Christmas classic like "Elf" or "Love Actually" on.
5. If you have workouts set in your schedule, listen to Christmas music during them!
6. Make an Advent calendar that counts down not only to Christmas but to the days you have left until going home.
7. On study breaks, bundle up and take a walk outside.
8. Go to Christmas parties! It's okay to take time out to celebrate and have fun with your friends.
9. Make a snowman, if there's snow on the ground.
10. Use only red or green ink when taking notes in class.
11. Reward yourself with candy canes or other festive candy when you finish a study guide.
12. Remember that this is temporary and soon enough you'll be at home, celebrating the birth of Christ with your family!
