Look at you, you started college, made some amazing friends, and survived your classes. Congratulations! Your life could not be better. You and your friends have plans for the rest of your college
1. First of all, stay in touch with your transferring friend.
Put Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and every other social media you have an account with, to good use.
2. Keep building your relationship(s) with your friend(s) that aren't transferring.
They didn't leave you, so reward them with more love than usual.
3. Make new friends to fill the hole in your heart where your other friend used to be.
4. Pretend they never existed.
5. Focus on school.
After all, you're in college to get an education, who needs friends?
6. Get a job or internship so you can have money to buy things that also fill the gaping hole in your heart.
7. Cry a little (or a lot).
8. If you must, use a little passive aggression to get out those emotions brought on from abandonment. Throw a little shade, drag them subtly.
9. Occasionally reminisce about old times with your friend by looking at pictures of you together, but remember that they left you and everything was a lie.
10. Get a cat.
A cat would probably solve all of your problems.
11. Remember, you're a strong and independent woman or man.
12. Realize that not everything is about you.
Your friend didn't leave you to intentionally cause you this grief. They obviously had some logical reason to leave, such as a financial reason or they just wanted to be closer to home. Good friends are forever, and although you may not see them every day like usual, they will always be there for you and you will eventually see them again. So, stay positive, love your friends, get your education, and keep pushing forward.
