12 Must Watch Netflix Shows

In case you've Netflixed and chilled all summer and you're all out of options.

12 Must Watch Netflix Shows

If I had a dollar for every time I saw the tweet or Facebook status that said "What are some good shows on Netflix?" I would owe Western Kentucky University a lot less money.

So here's a compilation of my favorite shows I've watched on Netflix. If you don't like chick-flicks, I'll just be honest, this probably isn't the list for you. It's about the most basic minded list, but I highly recommend every show on here. Some of them, I've even watched twice.

1. One Tree Hill

187 episodes later and you kind of get emotionally invested.

2. Gossip Girl

If for no other reason, just watch this one to enjoy Chuck Bass.

3. Hart of Dixie

New Yorker Zoey Hart moves into a tiny town to pursue her career as a doctor. This was a fun light hearted show that reminded me way too much of my little 3 stoplight town.

4. Scandal

Y'all, Olivia Pope is my spirit animal. Also, this show makes you wonder if we're this clueless about what actually goes on in DC.

5. How I Met Your Mother

This is my show that I watch in between waiting on new seasons to come out. It's funny, but you don't have to deal with an emotional investment.

6. Jane the Virgin

One of the craziest most overdramatic shows I've ever seen. But, like, have you seen Raphael?

7. Friends

You knew this one had to make it to the list at some point.

8. Grey's Anatomy

Shonda Rhimes has made my life worth living and basically tried to end it with just one season.

9. Drop Dead Diva

The overall premiss of this show is almost kinda lame, but once you get past that, its literally one of the most overlooked Netflix shows. I once tried to change my major to law because of Jane and how much I loved her.

10. Orange is the New Black

I highly recommend watching this show. But I HIGHLY wouldn't recommend watching this with your grandma.

11. Unbreakable: Kimmy Schmidt

Still trying to figure out the whole point of this show, but if its just to make you laugh Netflix succeeded.

12. Fuller House

Okay, that gif is from Full House, not Fuller House. But seriously, Uncle Jessie is still killing it.


Now you have this in your back pocket for when you run out of shows to Netflix and chill with this semester.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment.
