I recently saw Now You See Me: The Second Act, and realized that there are a lot of upcoming movies that I am looking forward to seeing. Of course, movies do not always live up to the hype. Thus, with this article, I will list 12 upcoming movies and discuss why they can be a hit or a flop.

1. Ghostbusters (2016)- July 15, 2016

This is a movie that I am looking forward to. I loved the original ones, and I am a feminist, so getting to see women in these roles will be great. I also believe that the cast is a talented one, and I expect lots of humor. However, this movie can be a bust because of over-hype. I have no doubt that the movie will be funny; however, there is doubt that the plot line will maintain its coherence as the film progresses. Comedy might override the story.

2. Star Trek Beyond- July 22, 2016

Star Trek has become a very popular series, so many people are looking forward to the third installment of the modern film series. This movie can be very successful, especially since they have been in the past. The graphics are amazing, the plots have been enrapturing, and the characters are appealing and relatable. This movie can be a flop, in my opinion, only if the plot ends up being anti-climatic.

3. Jason Bourne- July 29, 2016

Again, this is another movie I am looking forward to. Matt Damon back in his best role is something that I cannot wait to see. He is a very good actor, and the actors that are coming back to reprise their roles are also very good at their roles. This movie can flop if the new characters end up being poorly written.

4. Bad Moms- July 29, 2016

This is a comedy that is coming out the same day as Jason Bourne, so it might not do as well in the box office. However, this is a movie that could end up being really good. The casting seems to be really well done. The plot seems funny enough; a trio of moms take some time off from their duties in order to regain some sense of freedom. This movie can be a flop if the characters are trite and if the plot is static.

5. Suicide Squad- August 5, 2016

This is one of the few DC movies that I am actually looking forward to. I am really excited to see this movie. I feel like the actors were appropriately cast and the trailers look amazing. The general ambiguity of the plot is definitely intriguing enough for me to want to see this. However, like all movies, Suicide Squad has the potential to flop. The over-hype of the film can be its Achilles' heel.

6. The Little Prince

If you read the book as a kid, you might be surprised to hear that it is becoming a movie. Whether or not you see the animated film is up to you, but it is definitely a film that can be a hit or a flop. It can be a hit if it follows the original story. It can be a flop if it deviates too far away from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's vision.

7. Pete's Dragon (2016)- August 12, 2016

This movie is a remake of the 1977 film of the same name. It is a movie that has not really been promoted at the time of this article's authorship. However, it is a movie that you should watch out for. It is aimed towards children, but the cast might make adults equally as eager to see the film. It is a movie that I will definitely want to see. Pete's Dragon can be a hit with its motion capture and visionary storyline. It can be a flop if it does not manage to stay in the minds of the children it is aiming to reach.

8. Kubo and the Two Strings- August 19, 2016

This is another children's movie. However, the animation is mesmerizing and definitely an incentive to go see this movie. That alone could cause this movie to be a hit. However, I feel uncertain about the storyline, and I think that this could cause the movie to be a flop.

9. Before I Wake- September 9, 2016

I have to show some love to horror films in this list! While I am not personally a fan of horror movies, Before I Wake is a film that I expect to be a hit. While it was already released earlier in the year, a more wide-scale release is set for September. I think that this movie can be a hit based on the cast as well as the general popularity of horror films. However, this film can be a flop if it does not attain critical acclaim and if many moviegoers believe it does not live up to horror movie standards.

10. Bridget Jones's Baby- September 16, 2016

Bridget Jones's Baby is an inevitable film, and thus can be a success in the box office. The return of the cast everyone knows and loves is reason enough for a success. Like a few of the movies previously mentioned, this movie can be a flop if the plot does not live up to the hype.

11. Snowden- September 16, 2016

This is a movie I have also been looking forward to for a while now. Ever since I first saw a teaser picture of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Edward Snowden, I knew that this was going to be a film that would cause a lot of controversy. For this reason, it can be a hit. You will have many pro and anti Snowden people going to see this movie, thus bringing in money for the film. However, if the film overplays Snowden's role or even does not bring Snowden justice, then the film can be a flop. This film will definitely rely on a subtle balance in Snowden's character.

12. The Magnificent Seven- September 23, 2016.

A remake of the 1960 film, The Magnificent Seven is the last film on this list. I feel like this can be a hit if it brings out the elements that caused audiences to love the movie when it originally came out. The Old-West style will be a large factor in determining the success of this film.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
