12 Thoughts Girls Who Are Tired of Winter Have Already Had

Ah sweet summertime, you can almost hear the sound of people splashing in the pool and imagine the sun shining on every little space. If you are anything like me, you are already excited for summer but unfortunately still live in a world where Winter still has a good chunk of time left in the season. I'm sure you've had most of these thoughts if you can't wait for summer!

1. Its the end of February, so basically Summer is around the corner

Even though technically summer doesn't start until June 20th, you are already ready for it and pretend like its going to be here sooner than you think

2. You realize just how pale you've become and can't wait to bask in the sun

Winter means short days and minimal sunlight. Being indoors isn't your thing, and you can't wait to absorb some vitamin D.

3. You've already bought a new swimsuit, even though you won't be able to use it for a while

You can't help but buy the newest swim suit because you can't wait for summer time pool parties and days in the water. Hey it's not your fault all of the new swim collections come out in the winter.

4. You've already started a Summer Bucket List

You've searched all over the internet to find the coolest things to do and make over the summer...then made a list to make sure you don't forget a single one come summer time.

5. You think Spring Break is such a tease.

If you are fortunate enough to escape the old for spring break or live somewhere that's warm year round, you get excited over a little taste of summer. Too bad reality hits a week later and you realize you still have a while until real summer.

6. You haven't even finished all of your Mid-Terms but you dream of not having any class work for over 3 Months.

The mid-year slump is really hitting you hard. You can't wait for days of no stress and commitments. And in a land where 8 AMs don' exist.

7. You see the temperature is slightly warmer than usual, so you decide not to wear your coat.

And then you immediately regret it because you forgot to factor in wind chill and how it gets colder at night.

8. You've already planned your next great summer excursion down to ever detail, even though it may not be for a few months still.

You can never be too prepared am I right?

9. You've already pulled out your summer clothes and started to put away your winter clothes.

Even though it's still technically winter, you decide it would be effective to do your spring cleaning early so you will be prepared for that first day of nice warm weather.

10. The perfect Summer playlist is already playing on your choice of technology.

Listening to Summertime by Kenny Chesney totally gets you in the mood for summertime and makes you wish Summer was even closer.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
