1. They accept you for who you are.

You can be completely yourself with your roommates and be as weird as you want to. You don't ever have to hold back singing and sounding horrible in the shower or dancing around at 1:00 a.m. They never judge you for anything.

2. They are always there for you when you are upset.

Whether you are going through a breakup, having issues with other friends or your family, they are there for you. It doesn't matter if it is early in the morning and you are crying, they will sit there and talk you through it and tell you everything is going to be okay.

3. Your closet becomes theirs and vice versa.

There is always a variety of clothing when you live with your roommates because they all share clothes and accessories. They always give you fashion advice and the do's and don'ts of every outfit.

4. Being old grandmas when it is needed.

There are always those nights when you just don't want to do anything, but you don't want to be alone. Your roommates are always down for a lazy evening while watching Netflix and eating chocolate in your apartment.

5. Watching the TV shows you are obsessed with.

Everyone has a series on TV or Netflix that you cannot go a day without watching. Go thank your roommates for this right now because it is not easy to endure a TV show that you absolutely hate, but you do it anyway because you care and vice versa.

6. Celebrating success with each other.

You are always down to break out the champagne and celebrate when something major happens in your roommates life such as getting an important job, getting into grad school, or even making a great grade on a test that you had been stressing about for a week.

7. Splitting the cost of food.

Broke college kids cannot afford all of the food that they would love to eat. Your roommates are the people who understand this the most. They are always ready to order a huge pizza and split the cost together, got to the grocery store and get a bunch of food and split the cost in the checkout line, etc. It is a win-win situation for all of you.

8. For late night talks and movies.

Some of the best nights are spent talking about the most random things, telling stories, and laughing at each other's corny jokes while watching funny and scary movies.

9. Taking turns being the doctor when sickness hits.

When you live with one or two people, you tend to pass sickness around to them. You get sick and then your roommates get sick. All of you always make sure that the one that is sick gets the medicine and care that they need whether it is the flu, stomach virus, or one of those painful and dreadful UTI's.

10. Holding your hair when you puke after a night of a little too much fun.

Believe me, everyone has one of these nights. It is always so nice to have someone that will make sure you get home safely, drive your car home if needed, put up with you, and hold your hair and clean up after you when you can't at the moment.

11. Giving you complete honest advice

A true best friend will tell you exactly what they think and give you honest advice even if it is not what you want to hear. Your roommates are your support system and will always do what is best for you. They are there to help you grow and protect you from hurt.

12. Always having your back.

Let's be real, your roommates are your best friends. If someone messes with you, they also mess with your roommates. We will leave it at that.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
