Many of us know someone who is anything but similar to us, but you don't really understand the struggle until you have to live with them. Although it can be difficult at times, you learn to deal with differences and find the humor in it along the way.
1. One of you is consistently colder than the other.
There's a constant fight over who has to put a jacket on and who touches the thermostat.
2. You share completely different fashion senses.
One most likely involving Norts (Nike shorts) and an over-sized T-shirt, and the other not.
3. It's highly possible one of you is an extrovert and the other is an introvert.
4. Because of that, you have different ideas of fun.
5. Dance parties and loud music are often.
The introvert is left having to deal with it, or join in.
6. During the dance parties you realize you have completely different music tastes.
You'll often hear the phrase, "I don't know this one, can you change the station?"
7. Don't forget the Netflix and chill dates that are just as common as dance parties.
The extrovert learns to enjoy the calm.
8. You both have different sleeping habits.
One goes to bed at 9:30 p.m. while the other stays up another two hours studying.
9. You have different tastes in guys.
You often hear the phrase, "Do you think this guy is cute?" and get the response of, "Ehh" (Smiles and looks away.)
10. You share completely different emotional levels.
While one can seem to cry or laugh at the blink of an eye, the other has the tendency to express little to no emotions ever.
11. You both have different ideas of "clean."
"Did you take the trash out yet?"
"Yeah, two weeks ago."
12. Opposites do attract.
Although you both share your differences, you've proven that opposites can attract, (or can at least get along) and that it's all about balancing each other out.
