Every college student dreams of his or her senior year spring break. Why? You're all finally 21 (#blessed). Most of you have secured some semblance of a plan for your post-college life, which deserves some serious celebrating. Plus, all of those endless hours of babysitting and dealing with snarky customers all summer will finally pay off in club cover fees. You pack your entire life into a tiny suitcase, cramming as many bikinis, crop tops, and pairs of wedges into a carry-on bag as you possibly can. You pack an absurd amount of tanning oil, insisting that you refuse to come back to school without any color. You're excited as h**l. You need this. You deserve this.
But, it doesn't benefit us to be naive. As it's often said, the best laid plans always go awry, and you doubt that your spring break will be an exception. You're nervous for what's ahead, even though you try not to let your worrying get the best of you. You know that although you have played out the worse case scenarios in your head several times, you can't be 100% prepared for whatever is thrown your way. As my friends and I have begun to solidify the last minute details of our vacation, my wandering mind has not failed me. Here are my predictions of some events that will inevitably transpire on spring break, as told by Friends gifs.
1. You will go to Florida expecting it to be 85 and sunny every single day, and you'll be in for a rude awakening.
2. You will experience extreme fatigue, after flipping back and forth between being hungover and being drunk.
3. Your friend group will disagree on the night's plans. It will likely lead to a big argument.
4. Someone will have a mental breakdown about something (a boy, a friend, the future, etc.) and you will have to console them.
5. Someone will do something extremely embarrassing on a night that you were "taking it easy."
6. Your temporary living quarters will progressively get messier, and you'll progressively lose your patience.
7. You'll meet a guy/girl who makes you want to make some questionable decisions.
8. Something completely unexpected (good or bad) will happen.
9. You'll seek out the best places to drunk eat because you always keep your priorities in check.
10. You'll dance like no one's watching because you don't know anyone at the bar for once, and you intend to enjoy the judgment-free zone.
11. You'll realize you have the best friends in the whole world, and you'll want to embrace these moments with them.
12. You'll cherish the memories and most importantly, leave all your regrets behind.
