1) People get scared when you say hi to them because you are so enthusiastic.
Didn't mean to scare you, I am always like this, I swear!
2) Due to your enthusiasm, people tend to imitate your greetings.
Make fun all you want, I can't help being too friendly.
3) Whenever you are not super enthusiastic, people assume you are in a bad mood.
Just because I am not jumping up and down with excitement at everything you say (like I usually do) does not mean I am in a bad mood. Rather, I am just relaxing, so please excuse me while I take it down a solid five notches for once.
4) People text you novels about their life issues because they know you will respond in depth.
And quite frankly, you love when this happens. You love helping your friends through tough situations. Anything for your pals, am I right?
5) You get uncomfortable with awkward silences and due to that, have become pretty good at small talk.
You would rather hear nails on a chalkboard than have to listen to an awkward silence. You have an extensive repertoire of random topics to bring up when a conversation comes to a lull.
6) And by pretty good, I mean you still find yourself saying some pretty odd things just to make conversation.
Sometimes you wish you could take back the ridiculous things that you say in awkward conversations.
7) You are used to the shame of saying hi to someone, them not hearing you, and having bystanders look at you like you are crazy.
"Brit! Brit?? Hey, Brit!!" *whips out phone and pretends to talk on the phone so people don't notice your blunder*
8) You smile at everyone and are often given blank looks in return.

You can't help but to smile at everyone you see. While the ordinary blank look is usually the one you get in return, you have seen everything from the RBF, to the "look to the right so that she thinks I didn't see her smile," to the straight up grimace or, occasionally, the smile in return.
9) You quite simply do not understand why everyone isn't as friendly as you are.

Chances are you never will. But hey, to each his/her own.
10) You make friends everywhere.
Your waitress, the old guy behind you in line at the grocery store, even the telemarketer, you name it. You can be friendly with anyone.
11) People think you are being fake when you are really just very friendly.
No, I am not pretending to be super nice, I just am. No faking here! Sorry!!
12) People feel bad being mean to you because you are just so nice.
You know how to take a joke, but surprisingly, people don't mess with you. Kill em with kindness folks!
