It's November. Holy heck, it's November, and that can only mean one thing.
FINALS ARE COMING.
They're following you about 30 feet back. They get down on all fours and break into a sprint. They're gaining on you. Finals.
Somehow, without you noticing, your workload tripled. Where did all of this work come from? You're drowning in it.
You can spot the signs that you're nearing the end of the semester. They are all around you.
1. It's pretty much a daily struggle to even look at your agenda
Because you have SO MUCH TO DO.
2. You decide to be productive.
You open a new Word Doc, give it a title, and then sit there and stare at it.
3. You give yourself a pep talk.
But then you see your pile of work.
4. Your school life is crumbling and you can barely even function anymore.
Like seriously, you're struggling so hard to hang on.
5. You write a couple of sentences for a 15-page paper, then realize it's hopeless.
Crying is literally all you can do.
6. You see your friends' Instagram posts where they are happy and having fun.
But you have work to do and have to be responsible, so you decide to despise them.
7. When teachers ask how your papers are coming.
Let's just forget you asked.
8. Other people are telling you great things about their lives but you can't see beyond your ridiculous to-do list.
*trying to muster some joy* *failing*
9. The weekend comes but you have to do work THE WHOLE TIME.
There is no rest for the weary.
10. The tiniest thing will send you into an emotional breakdown.
But really. You would be surprised.
11. You'll try ridiculous methods to de-stress.
Some might actually work...
12. And then the day comes where you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Power through, fam. We can make it. Together.
