If you consider yourself to be a beach babe, then consider yourself as being someone similar to me. You grew up fortunate enough to have a beach house and spending each and every one of your summers at the beach. When you were little your dream job consisted of wanting to be an umbrella girl, Scopes girl or a lifeguard because those occupations allowed you to spend even more time on the beach. Every year your family Christmas card would be a photo of you and your siblings in the sand dunes at the beach. With that being said, here are 11 signs that show you were born to live at the beach:

1. You're a beach baby.

Before you even knew how to walk you’re parents had you crawling and rolling around in the sand. Before you were potty trained your bathing suit consisted of just a diaper. Heck, you should’ve been the baby on the Coppertone bottle.

2. There's no such thing as being too tan.

Catching rays should be your profession. You’re not one to hide under the umbrella as you prefer to lay out on your towel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to boast and brag about your tan lines later.

3. The water is never too cold.

When you set foot on the beach there’s no time to put on sunscreen. Rather you run straight to the water and dive in regardless if the water feels like an ice box.

4. You have the ultimate summer playlist.

And you listen to your summer playlist year round- which consists of beachy jams ranging from Bob Marley reggae to the Zac Brown Band.

5. You're always barefoot.

Because if you’re not barefoot then you’re overdressed, right?!

6. You don't mind if there's sand in your food.

It seems as if that Wawa hoagie you got for lunch is now just a little bit crunchy…

7. There's always sand in your bed sheets.

But you don’t mind because you love to lay in bed wearing your bathing suit after you’ve rolled around in the sand.

8. Your home décor is costal.

It seems as nautical décor always seems to catch your eye! You can’t help but constantly buy distressed wooden frames with sea shells or paintings of anchors, sunsets and boats.

9. You’re favorite Bath & Body Works fragrance is Sea Island Cotton.

You have the whole fragrance collection-body mist, shower gel, lotion and hand soap.

10. You don’t understand why someone would prefer to take a trip to somewhere cold rather than taking a trip to somewhere hot, like the beach.

Why go skiing or snowboarding when you can surf and catch waves all day?

11. You prefer salt water in your hair.

Salt water does make for the best beach waves.

12. Your bikini is your go-to outfit.

You dread having to wear a cover up of any kind. You find it socially acceptable to show off your bronzed skin and wear your cute little bikinis all day, whether that may be on or off the beach.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
