12 Reasons Why I Can't Wait For Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of the year! I was born a week before Christmas and my middle name means Christmas gift so it's practically in my blood to love this holiday. I love everything about this time of year! If there was a contest to see who loves Christmas the most I would 100% be the winner.

1. Cold weather

Well, colder weather because Florida is like an oven and we can only ask for so much.

2. Christmas music

Every year I start listening to Christmas music on November 1st and there's always that one person who judges me for it. I bet you they were the Grinch for Halloween.

3. Christmas TV specials

I love watching the classic Christmas movies.

4. Christmas Dinner

Honeslty my family goes crazier over Christmas dinner than Thanksgiving.

5. My mom's cinnamon rolls that she makes every Christmas morning.

6. Hot chocolate

Giphy

Okay, yes we are in Florida but I still love hot chocolate.

7. I get to see my family.

I love being around my family on Christmas even if it does get a little crazy sometimes.

8. Christmas decorations

When I went home last month I decorated my room for Christmas... it was October.

9. Santa Claus

My mom still writes, "from Santa" on her presents.

10. I get to dress up my dog like a reindeer

Giphy

My mom doesnt know it yet, but I am 100% going to dress my dog Bentley like a reindeer this year.

11. Snow!

My family moved to Marlyand over the summer so now I can actually see snow again!

12. I just can't wait to be around the Christmas spirit.

There's just something about this holiday that really makes things special.

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
