Halloween is fast approaching and if you are without a costume, here are some simple but fun ideas!
1. Barista at a Coffee Shop
Black pants, Black shirt, and an apron paired with a cup of coffee transforms you into the local savior of everyone in need of a caffeine fix.
2. Heartbroken
Want to spend the night in comfy clothes? Grab a pair of baggy sweatpants or pajama pants, an old t-shirt, comfy shoes, and a big sweatshirt. If you're feeling like you want that extra touch, use eye makeup to create the 'raccoon eye' look.
3. Marathon Runner
A pair of sneakers, workout clothes, and a half sheet of paper with a number on it will have you running to houses with lots of candy!
4. A Model
This one is super easy. Fashion is in the eye of the beholder, so you can wear anything in your wardrobe. All you need to do is strike a pose if someone asks "who are you supposed to be?"
5. Missionary from The Book of Mormon
If you aren't a theatre person, you may not know what this is referencing, but the costume is simple. A pair of black pants, a short sleeved white button up shirt, a book and a black tie is all you need.
6. A Teenager
If you are a teenager, this one is easy, just wear something you would typically wear to school. If you are an adult wear a pair of jeans, converse, sweatshirt, and a pair of headphones.
7. Regina George
Take an old tank top and cut out holes in the chest, layer it over another tank top, then wear a skirt and low heels.
8. A Sports Fan
Depending on where you are from, the team you support will vary. Coming from Boston, I would be a Patriots fan, most likely wearing #12 and a pair of jeans. 
9. Charlie Brown
Black pants and a yellow t-shirt. How to get the iconic stripe across the middle? Use some black tape or masking tape colored black. Add a football to your ensemble for something extra!
10. Alex from Target
He may have been a meme from times past, but he is a simple halloween costume. Khakis, a red shirt and a nametag that reads ALEX.
11. A Tourist
While you can choose to wear a tacky shirt and cargo shorts, you can also wear comfortable walking clothes and a camera. It would help if you asked for directions from anyone you run into.
12. A Cat
This costume is a classic. Wear all black and use some paint to give yourself a nose and wiskers.
Some of these may seem overly simple, but don't let a lack of time or money stifle your creativity in terms of costumes!
