I love golden retrievers. They are the friendliest, most therapeutic breed of dog ever. They can make any bad day turn into a great one. In short, golden retrievers are love factories. They just give out love and joy freely. Here are 12 golden retriever memes that gave me a good laugh.

1. Professor Retriever

I wish I had a professor that was a golden retriever. I bet he or she would be always happy to see students, generous with grades and always fun. I wonder how the dog got into the suit.

2. Better than a cup of coffee or an alarm clock

I know a golden who looks just like this one and would probably do the exact same thing. I am not a morning person but I would not mind being woken up by a golden retriever every morning, especially if the golden retriever woke me up because it loved me.

3. Burglars, you have been warned

Not very intimidating for burglars or criminals, but golden retrievers are great family pets. If I had to get a dog for myself it would be a golden retriever, but if I wanted a guard dog, I would get a German shepherd and still get a golden retriever. Goldens love everybody, making them not the most ideal guard dog.

4. Sorry bud, not today...

Judging by the picture, that poor dog looks like it just got a bath. Doesn't seem like things are going his way for him on that day.

5. I got the contacts to hook you up, bruh

This would be me without a doubt when I grow older. I love goldens and as soon as I graduate, I am going to get a golden retriever. Most likely, when I get one, I will probably get several others. So many names.

6. Remember, we don't tell Mom about this, okay?

When I become a dog parent, I will spoil my dogs, but they would be trained well, so that they could be spoiled. I would train them to be people friendly, and good off a leash. Once they get advanced training down, then I can spoil them with cookies, and beds, and toys as much as they want.

7. I feel you, buddy...

This photo made my day. I never before thought of a dog looking like mashed potatoes, but I would agree, this dog does look sad, and like a bunch of mashed potatoes. As for why he is so sad, probably because he heard about me looking for a dog, and wants to be my pet, but got stuck with another owner instead. Thats okay buddy, I'm sure your in good hands.

8. Omnononon

I had a German shepherd that would always try to eat the waves. A little bit less harmful than eating sand, but still not good. I live in Hawaii and go to the beach often, so a dog that eats sand could become a problem. I would soon have a sand pooping machine instead of a dog.

9. The sibling

I agree, I don't like cats either, but each to his own.

10. Awww, thanks bud!

Aww, this melted my heart. When I get a golden retriever, he or she would be able to sleep on his or her own bed. The sort of smooshed face the dog is making reminds me of how you can stretch or smoosh a golden retriever's face to make them look funny. I'll save some of those pictures of part two of greatest golden retriever memes!

11. A sacrifice to the human! Wait a second, I changed my mind

Silly dog! He looks so adorable. His eyes look huge though, I wonder if they are photoshopped. The duck looks like a fun toy. I need to get one of those for my golden.

12. Only a best friend would give you their most prized possession. A golden best friend!

We love you too buddy.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
