With Adele's new album coming out in November, it is the perfect time to take a look at some of the songs that hit home and tug on our heartstrings. Here are 12 of her songs that really make you feel some type of way.

1. "Hello"

This recently released single has taken the country by storm. Artists are already posting covers of the song online and it was a great way for Adele to get her fans ready for her new album. Hello makes us feel remorse for our past loved ones. The lyrics hold so much meaning, and some of the notes can easily give anyone goosebumps.

2. "Someone Like You"

The Best Pop Solo Performance Winner of the 2012 Grammy Awards, Someone Like You was on the radio constantly and stuck in everybody's head for weeks. This song can be sad and happy at the same time, which does not make much sense but it's true. This song shows how love can be so painful sometimes. Moving on can be hard, and Adele definitely addresses this in her ballad.

3. "Rolling in the Deep"

Regret is the one emotion that this song embodies. Clearly, Adele is not sorry for the ending of this relationship. Her violent lyrics shows how angry she is about her man not treating her right. But it's okay, Adele still slays in this pop rock song.

4. "Turning Tables"

Adele expresses her confusion in "Turning Tables." The relationship is hitting rock bottom, and she does not know how to fix it. However, regaining her confidence and being assertive helped her, and she shows this in her lyrics.

5. "Chasing Pavements"

The uncertainty in this song is so relatable. Adele is deciding whether she should pursue this relationship or leave it be. Of course, it may lead somewhere, but she is too worried about the consequences if her pursuit leads nowhere.

6. "Rumour Has It"

With any relationship, comes gossip and inescapable rumors. Sometimes it can be hard to ignore this; lies can sometimes seem true, and the two people in a relationship lose trust. Adele certainly has experience in this, and calls out her ex in this soulful tune.

7. "One and Only"

This song represents the fear of falling for someone. This happens to all of us some point or another. It can be so scary to let someone in and let them love you. Adele powers through in this song and forgets her past to learn to love again.

8. "Crazy for You"

To be fully invested in someone, like your life depended upon it, is what this song is all about. The title perfectly describes this song. The desire, need, and passion in Adele's relationship helped drive her to produce this song.

9. "Melt My Heart to Stone"

This song explains how it feels to be in a one-sided relationship. Adele was upset that her significant other was not reciprocating her love when she says, "I'm the only one in love." Her pain and heartbreak are conveyed in this song and it seems like love just isn't worth it.

10. "Take It All"

It can't be easy to feel hopeless when your boyfriend or girlfriend turns their back on you. It can be hard to recover and seem fine, when really you just want to curl into a ball and hide in a corner. Giving up can be so difficult sometimes.

11. "Don't You Remember?"

Missing your partner is never easy. Pictures of them never make it any better and phone calls seem to make you miss them more. They say the distance makes the heart grow fonder, but the time spent missing each other can be dreadful.

12. "Cold Shoulder"

We've all gotten a cold shoulder from someone, whether in an intimate relationship or not. Adele feels like she is being treated unfairly and not receiving the attention she deserves. What better way to express this than in a song?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
