It’s no secret that I’m an avid dog lover. I’ve never met a dog that I don’t like. I don’t understand how people could possibly think felines are better, but that’s an argument for a whole different day. Dogs are “man’s best friend” and we don’t deserve these glorious creatures. Honestly, they’re not just better than cats, they’re all around better than humans.
1. They don’t judge you.
They don’t care if you wear mismatched socks or have a green face mask on or sing Taylor Swift songs loudly at all hours of the night.
2. They don’t talk back.
Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who can’t complain that you’re venting has gone on for hours.
3.They are always there for you, in good times and bad.
They see you at your best and when you’re curled up in a ball crying and love you just the same in both situations.
4.They’re always happy to see you.
No person is going to sit in front of the door and jump up and down and spin around upon your arrival.
5.They trust you completely.
No matter what you do, they’re always going to trust and love you. You can accidentally step on their tail, but they bounce back and cuddle with you all the same.
6.They live to make you happy.
You’re never going to find someone whose life goal is to make you as happy as possible.
7.Their cuddles never get annoying.
I don’t know about you, but cuddling with a human can be rough sometimes. Dogs are better cuddlers hands down.
8.They always let you use them as a pillow.
They’re soft and cushy and lovable and nothing is better.
9.They never get bored of you.
You can be as weird as possible, watch Netflix for 50 hours straight, and dance by yourself and no matter what they’re always going to think you’re amazing.
10.They appreciate the simple things.
They don’t need much or care about fancy things. All they want is some love and attention.
11.Their love is unending.
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since you’ve seen them, if you accidentally stepped on their foot, or got mad at them for some stupid reason; their love for you is unending through it all.
So basically, get a dog and love them as much as you possibly can because they’re amazing.
