My whole entire life growing up I have had a dog. The dog I grew up with was a dog that changed my life for the better. I can't imagine what my childhood would've been like had I not had the experiences I did with my dog. That dog turned into my lifelong companion which made me realize just how much better they are when compared to us humans.

1. The are great listeners.

2. They'll never judge you.

3. Did I mention, they can't talk?

4. Even when they're ugly, they're still cute.

5. They're always happy.

6. They're the ultimate wingman/woman.

7. They're the best to cuddle with.

8. If they don't like you, you'll know.

9. Again, they can't talk...

10. They can lick anyone/anything and get away with it.

11. You can't stay mad at them.

12. Their babies are cuter.

13. They're always loyal to you.

14. They show unconditional love.

15. They are selfless.

16. They don't have to bathe everyday.

17. They don't care how they look.

18. People play with their hair without being asked.

19. They don't have to pay for anything.

20. They don't have responsibilities.

21. They're always so happy to see you.

22. They can sleep at any point in the day.

23. They're not picky with where they go to the bathroom.

24. They can always put a smile on your face, even when you've had the worst day.

25. They're the best friend you've always dreamed of having.

**Chances are if I'm at a party, I'm hanging with the dog.**

Special shout out to the dog who I lost eight years ago. The dog who showed me unconditional love; missing you always, pup.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
