Seemingly out of nowhere, the Kardashians became reality TV’s first family, with their last name becoming known by the world and gaining them millions. Along with the fame came the controversy with things like sex tapes, 72-day marriages, twitter feuds and racy nude photo shoots surrounding their family’s reputation. Regardless of whether you love them or hate them, there are at least a few times (or 11) that they’ve said or acted in a way that we all should.
1. That time they acted like queens.
Knowing your worth and owning it is key to great self-esteem. Be the queen, or king, we all know you are.
2. That time they demanded respect.
You have all probably heard the phrase "treat others the way you want to be treated." So if you're not receiving all that great of treatment from someone, don't waste your time on that person.
3. That time they ignored the haters.
Don't let others' opinions hinder you from being the best you that you can be.
4. That time they had standards.
It's important to set standards for yourself, and if people can't accept you for who you are and how you are choosing to live your life, then there is no room for them to be in your life.
5. That time they didn't waste time.
Life's too short to talk in circles and use up your time on unnecessary things, so cut out the excess.
6. That time they took control.
When it comes to major decisions, you are the only one who knows what is best for you. Don't let your family, friends or others dictate what is okay and not okay for you. Take control and makes those choices for yourself.
7. That time they didn't take crap.
It's okay to stick up for yourself and tell others you don't appreciate the way they speak, treat or behave towards you.
8. That time they were mature.
When everyone is acting immature in a situation, take a step back and realize that. Then step back into the situation, acting your age, and maybe others will realize how ridiculous they are acting and grow up.
9. That time they said no to negative energy.
Surround yourself with everything that makes you a better version of yourself and get rid of the negative
10. That time they didn't just talk about it.
Everyone knows that talk is cheap and that the world would be a better place if everybody would just decide to do more and talk less.
11. That time they didn't do drama.
Drama is pointless and should be left in middle school to die. Don't create it, spread it or participate in it in any way.
