As much as we miss our roommates, friends, the freedoms of living alone and the college atmosphere, coming back to school from spring break is the all-time biggest tease. You may have spent your break traveling to some tropical island or maybe binge watching an unhealthy amount of Netflix, but no student is ever actually excited to get back to doing school work. You may have gotten a taste of some beautiful beach weather and now you are back at school freezing again. Just a couple of more weeks to push through and before you know it the school year will be over!

1. Getting your suitcase all packed up and debating whether or not you should bring your winter clothes back to school or not.

Two weeks ago we were all sunbathing on the quad and tomorrow there is going to be a snowstorm. Thank you so much global warming.

2. Begging your mom if she can make you your favorite meal because well….cafeteria food just sucks.

You are always counting down the days until you can go home again to have a home cooked meal.

3. Feeling super stressed out because you are leaving the love of your life…your dog.

Saying goodbye never seems to get easier especially because seeing dogs at college are a rare occasion. You even wonder if your parents will notice the dog missing if you bring your dog back to school with you.

4. Coming back to your suite and feeling overwhelmed because you packed everything including the kitchen sink.

I mean, you just packed everything and now you have to unpack your neatly folded clothes. You even debate leaving your clothes in your suite case because there is only a couple of weeks left to the semester anyway.

5. Getting a rush of excitement when you hear the door open because it’s your roommate that you haven’t seen in over a week.

Although you have texted every day over break it is just not quite the same.

6. Since you haven’t seen your roommates for a whole week.

(Yes, it really is forever) you gossip for about two hours when you realize that you have done absolutely nothing.

7. Finally, you settle all of your stuff into your room.

It finally hits you that tomorrow is actually Monday. The day you have been dreading since break started.

You wonder to yourself why anyone would create something so evil as a new start to the week.

8. You open up your planner and think to yourself “oh crap.”

You completely forgot about all the homework and essays that were due after break.

Good thing it is called a “break” for a reason right?

9. You text a friend from class and ask them if they have done the assignment yet.

They reply to you by saying no they completely forgot about it as well.

Well… at least now you don’t have to feel so bad now.

10. You scramble to find all of your notes and books to start working on all of the assignments you did not do.

You know it is going to take you forever so might as well make it a little less painless and buy yourself a coffee.

11. Four hours later you finish up all the work you were supposed to do and decide to call it a night.

You crawl into your dorm bed and think how excited you are just to be back. At least, you can now feel accomplished that you got everything done.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
