Being a fan of the Chicago Cubs is the greatest (but also sometimes the worst) thing. There's so much history behind the club, they're always fun to watch, and now they're even World Series champs. Here are eleven things you know to be true if you're a true Cubs fan (meaning you were around before the 2016 season).

1. You love the Cubbies, but they really piss you off sometimes

You'll always be a fan, but then they drop a series against the Giants. Really? The Giants? Or they blow the NLCS against the Dodgers because they forget how to hit.

2. Wrigley Field is your favorite place

There's no place like Wrigley Field. It's arguably the most historic baseball park. The marquee, the bricks, the ivy, it's iconic.

3. You have a huge crush on Kris Bryant

I don't care who you are: girl, boy, gay, straight, anything in between, Kris Bryant is a beautiful human being. Just admit it.

4. People always assume you're a bandwagon fan

Nothing pisses you off more because you waited YEARS for that World Series trophy. You've earned it. And now all of a sudden there's a ton of fans who weren't here two years ago.

5. Half of your closet is Cubbie blue

You have all your favorite players' jerseys, t-shirts, and hats of course. It only got worse after the World Series because you had to add a ton of postseason gear to your collection. True fans even have Cubbie shoes.

6. You cried when they won the World Series

I honestly tear up every time I even think about it.

7. You know every word to 'Go Cubs Go'

You sing along to it after every win.

8. You remember when they were bad

It wasn't always this easy to be a Cubs fan.

9. You have a love/hate relationship with Kyle Schwarber

It seems like every time he gets up to bat it's either a homerun or an out. There's no in between.

10. You put all of your trust in Theo Epstein

Because what else can you do.

11. You know you'll always be a Cubs fan

No matter how bad a season is, or how many games you get to, you're in it for the long haul.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
