1.) Being your own personal alarm
Setting an alarm on your phone doesn't always do the trick, or you come up with all kinds of excuses to sleep through it. Luckily, you have that one person who will do anything and everything to annoy you so you can finally get out of bed.
2.) Food
I don't know about you, but my roomie ALWAYS has the best food to choose from, which means that at whatever chance I get I will eat it and be very satisfied in the end.
3.) Clothes
I went to college thinking that I would only have my clothes to choose from, but man was I wrong. I picked the best person to room with because she shops until she drops, which means that I will always have something to choose from.
4.) Late night thoughts
Ya know when you are just laying in your bed and want someone to talk to about whatever is going on in your life? Well, all you have to do is turn to whatever side their bed is on and BAM you have someone to talk to.
5.) Never alone
You always have that person to go to the cafeteria with, or ride in an elevator with so you don't experience any awkward silence with anyone else.
6.) Dance parties
Once a jam comes on you give each other that look like "are you ready to have a dance off?" And right when you look away from each other you know that it's on.
7.) Being my mother
You would think that once you go to college you won't have any more of those comments that parents make, but you're wrong. Forcing me to go to class, eat my veggies, and telling me to suck it up when I want to cry because of all the homework that I have.
8.) Being my doctor
Being sick in school is the worst, but being sick in college is unexplainable. Luckily, I have my own personal doctor to complain to 24/7 about how I am feeling.
9.) No dress code
Don't feel like putting on pants? No problem! Wearing the same sweatshirt two days in a row? No comment just the look like are you serious?
10.) Third Wheeling? Nah.
Thanks for including me in your pictures and not letting me crash your dates.
11.) Becoming my sister
I never thought I would go to college and become the best of friends with m roomie. We have had some bumps here and there, but I couldn't imagine living with anyone else. Thanks for all of the fun times and for making my freshman year one that I will never forget.
