Sometimes we need to take the time to thank our friends for all of the gifts their friendships bring. We need to become more conscience of all that our friends put up with, and all they provide us with. To all my friends, here is to make up for all the times I was too preoccupied to thank you for all that you have done.
1. Thank you for putting up with my sarcasm...
... and sorry for the times you did not pick up on it.
2. Thank you for letting me vent about all my problems....
...even when I am being totally over dramatic.
3. Thank you for keeping me updated on all your family drama to cure my boredom...
...and believe me at this point I am fully invested.
4. Thank you for teaching me that single or not, as long as I have you all I will never be alone...
...although sometimes a real date would be nice.
5. Thank you for not judging my constant desires for Wendy's, Dunkin Donuts, and Carvel...
...and admit it, now it's not always even my idea to go for a drive for them.
6. Thank you for putting up with my 'car concerts' every time we go for a drive...
...but admit it, they are the best rides you'll ever have.
7. Thank you for always laughing at my jokes regardless...
..
...don't worry, I know I'm not actually as funny as I think I am.
8. Thank you for dealing with me at my worst...
...even when I do not have the best excuse for my behavior.
9. Thank you for calling me out when I cross the line, and for keeping me honest...
...sometimes things sound much different in my head than when I say them to other people.
10. Thank you for embracing my spontaneous bursts of weirdness...
...and for never being fearful of joining in on the commotion.
11. And finally, thank you for loving and accepting me in all my forms...
...and for laughing at me, and with me, all along the way.
You have all at one point been my mom, my dad, my therapist, my doctor, my teacher, and my sibling when needed, and for that I am eternally grateful. I wish I said these all more often, but know that there are not enough 'thank-yous' in the world to express my love and appreciation for all of you.
