Your boyfriend probably knows you better than most people do. They are used to your weird habits and personality flaws. They deal with your bad days and the good ones. In so many ways, you two are extremely similar. He really seems to get you. However, there are some things about us girls that our guys will seemingly never get. Here are 11 concepts that our boyfriends won't ever be able understand.

1. They'll never know why it takes us so long to get ready.

Just picking out an outfit takes a ton of time on certain occasions. Plus, we need to do our hair, makeup, and have time for selfies.

2. They'll never understand why makeup is so expensive.

Most guys cannot comprehend how a powder can cost $30 and an eye shadow palette can be $60. Yes boys, there is a difference between drugstore and high-end products. Yes, it's all worth every penny.

3. They'll never understand how in the world we actually enjoy shopping.

For most of us girls, shopping is a stress-relieving hobby and a time to relax with friends. Getting new clothes is actually exciting! However, for most guys, shopping is basically legal torture.

4. They'll never understand that getting our nails and hair done takes time.

Getting a blowout does not take 20 minutes and a pedicure takes 30 at the least. Beauty takes time, so don't rush our pampering!

5. They'll never understand our love for Target.

Yes, 95 percent of the time, we do want to go to Target. I mean, they have everything there. We're sorry for all of the times when we wandered off. There's just so much to look at!

6. They'll never understand that an Insta photo needs to be retaken until we love it.

Instagram is no joke. We want to look cute, but not seem too planned. There is a perfect balance to strike. Yes, we need to keep taking the same picture until we strike it.

7. They'll never understand the true struggle of wearing heels.

We only complain the entire night about the heels that we are wearing because they actually are that painful. Trust us.

8. They'll never understand cramps.

This is one that guys obviously will never get. However, men, understand that when we say that we have cramps, we really are in pain. We are literally in agony.

9. They'll never understand how emotionally invested we get in reality TV.

Getting home in time for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and "The Bachelorette" really is that important. We basically feel like we know these people. Missing an episode is not OK.

10. They'll never understand why we own 17 pairs of practically identical black leggings.

Not all black leggings are created equal. We need workout leggings, chill out leggings, and wear out leggings. We need a pair for every type of occasion and always need more than a few pairs on hand at all times. All 17 pairs are, in fact, necessary.

11. They'll never understand how it is possible to be hungry, but not know what we want to eat.

We are hungry quite often, but most of the time we truly do not know what we want. If you pick something that we don't want, we let you know even though we don't know what we want ourselves. It's confusing, I know. We apologize.

Boys, it's OK that you don't totally get us. We still love you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
