1. You can handle brutal winds.
When you get to class with dried wind tears streaking your face is the norm... you know you're at BG. BGSU students become masters at walking with heads down during the cold months.
2. Pics at the vagina... I mean Metamorphosis rock.
Smack dab in old campus.. the giant rock on display right next to the University seal. Don't lie... you've taken a picture with it before!
3. Ayy Ziggy!
Every sporting event sings Ayy Ziggy! After just one BGSU sporting event, you'll be singing Ayy Ziggy and doing the arm motions, too!
4. SIC SIC candy
One of the most unique college traditions, SIC SIC has been a part of BGSU for years scaring children (and students) with their masks and high pitched voices! But more importantly, they spread University sprit and candy! SIC SIC keeps their secret identities for years!
5. Silent eighth floor
When you're at Club Jerome to meet up with a friend and study, you avoid eighth floor at all costs, considering it's so seriously silent that if you cough, you'll get looks.
6. The Legal Joint
What better way to end (or begin) a night with a legal joint drink at Brauthaus!? You can't leave without a giant basket of ranch or white cheddar popcorn!
7. Squirrels
Everywhere! No surprise if the chubby ones awkwardly approach you at your feet. And if you're lucky while walking through old campus, you'll come across the albino squirrel running around!
8. El Zarape
The college budget restaurant for any occasion from a 21st birthday to visiting friends and family, Zarape is the perfect go to! Oh, and the margs... you can't forget the margs. Well, you might forget by the end of a monster one!
9. The Battle of I-75
The T-word is not used around here... blue and yellow? Come on!
10. Parking Services
If you think you can park in a lot for five minutes to print a paper and not come out to a $20 ticket, think again! BGSU parking services are on it like a bee to a flower!
11. Massive DQ Blizzard
BGSU DQ is not just any normal DQ! They give double the amount of ice cream! Located perfectly downtown!
Bowling Green State University leaves students with memories that will last a lifetime. Bringing friends to BGSU is fun because you get to share all of the bittersweet experiences with those who don't get to every day! It's comforting knowing that every time BGSU students and alum return, the little things are still the same.
