As a student of Franklin Pierce University, you learn some basic things that you will always remember after leaving Franklin Pierce University. As the alma mater says "we remember well" and, in some cases, we won't remember anything at all. Let's take a trip down the most memorable things, in my opinion, to come from Franklin Pierce.

1. You know how to pronounce Rindge, Marcucella, Monadnock, Petrocelli and every other building properly.
And you usually go by the shortened names for everything such as Marcu, Petro and so on.
2. You know Franklin Pierce has a sprint football team, but most of you refuse to see it as a real football team.
3. Yik Yak has become a second nature to you.
4. When you're home, you start to miss Mister Mikes and Sandwich Master.
5. You're grateful when winter comes because then you don't have to be scared to cross paths with them on your way to class.
6. You know that Pearly Pond isn't actually a pond.
7. When telling a story about Lakeview to one of your friends from back home, you continuously have to explain what Lakeview is.
8. You have stories of Lakeview, while your friends from other schools have stories from bars in town.
And then you wonder what it is like to have a town near your school and not 30 minutes away.
