11 Signs You're Just Like Haley James Scott

Haley James Scott is a role model for many One Tree Hill fans. She's also a really awesome friend, wife, and mom. Here a few signs that you may be just like her:

1. You can sing your butt off.

Okay, maybe you haven't gone on tour. But, if you can sing, you're Haley.

2. You're really really smart.

Are you "Tutor Girl?"

3. You're the hottest girl in the room.

You walk in and everyone notices.

4. Your ability to forgive the shortcomings of others is endearing.

More often than not, Haley had to forgive Nathan for his flaws -- flaws that she loved, embraced, and accepted because she loved him.

If this is you, you're Haley.

5. But you take ZERO crap from anyone.

A little fierce? Yep, you're Haley.

6. You want to be a teacher, or help others.

Haley, in season 5, began her teaching gig. She was always the one to help others: tutoring Nate, helping Brooke start her clothing line, etc.

If you enjoy helping others or want to be a teacher, you're Haley.

7. You're incredibly strong.

When she and Nathan separated, when her mother died, when Keith was shot, and when Jamie was kidnapped, Haley remained strong. And, when Nathan was taken hostage in Season 9, she was stronger than most people could ever be. If you're strong, you're Haley.

8. You're selfless. With everyone.

Family meant everything to Haley. She did whatever she could to make them happy. If this is you, you're Haley.

9. You're hardworking.

Remember when she reopened Karen's Cafe? Yeah, that takes a lot of hard work. If you're dedicated and hardworking, you're Haley.

10. Your grace is inspiring.

Despite everything that happened to her, good and bad, Haley never lost an ounce of her grace. She had it in high school as "Tutor Girl," she always showed it in her relationship with Nathan, and she kept it as a mom, musician, and business owner. If this is you, you're Haley.

11. You love your friends.

Brooke became Jamie's godmother. Peyton essentially became her sister-in-law. They were all there for each other's ups and downs. They were best friends. Haley cared for and loved each of them in different ways, but equally nevertheless. If this you, you're Haley.

And the end of the day, I like to think there's a little bit of Haley in all of us.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
