Nerds know how to have fun. Why did we ever stop making blanket forts anyway?

3. They're not afraid to be goofy.

Sometimes we forget how much fun it is to dress-up or play pretend. Nerds aren't afraid to let their inner child out and be silly.

4. They'll keep your interest.

Nerds have many interests. Odds are, you'll have a few in common. Exhaust those and they will be able to introduce you to other fun stuff to do.

5. So, so sweet

Expressing emotion may not always be their strong point, but they are some of the sweetest people. They will be there for you.

6. They come with talents.

Pranking, music, art, trivia, nerds are creatures of passion. What they truly love, they tend to do very well.

7. Help!

Struggling with a hard concept? Can't figure out a computer problem? It never hurts to have a smarty pants on your side.

8. They get deep.

All of their smartness and creativity generates extremely interesting views. Want to have a unique, deep conversation that changes the way you see the world? Ask a nerd.

9. Nerd is the new jock.

It's the information age. Nerds are taking over.

10. They make the best cheerleaders.

No one appreciates another's hard work like a nerd. Why else would they love their fandoms so much?

11. Awesome

A nerd is a unique bundle of self-sustained awesome. They're awesome, and they're okay with everyone else being awesome too.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
