The best thing about having a sister was that I've always had a friend. We may bicker 24/7 but the constant laughs trump the fights and I wouldn't want to have it any other way. Thank you for being there for me and dealing with me, no matter how annoying the fact that Mom likes me more is. I'd go for the ends of the earth for you, just like you would for me.

These are 11 reasons why having an older sister is a blessing:

1. You get all of her clothes.

2. She helps you out in your time of need ($$$).

3. She'll get you out of unwanted situations.

4. She has already tired/stressed out mom by being a rebel- so you get away with everything.

5. And if you're not about to get away with something, she has your back!

6. She gives you the best advice.

Doesn't make sense half of the time, but it's the thought that counts.

7. She's your ultimate protector.

8. Even when she's the one fighting you most of the time.

Usually over the smallest/stupidest things, like taking her clothes or jokingly hitting each other too hard. But you'll both be over it in five minutes.

9. She'll take you to get things done that your mom wouldn't normally let you do without a fight.

We asked mom if I could get a tattoo, she said no, we laughed in her face and got one anyways.

10. Takes you everywhere, even if she doesn't want to.

"Mom said y'all have to take me with you or you're not going"

11. Overall, your best friend.

The greatest, most loyal friend you'll ever have, Your person, is your sister.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
