11 Reasons To Date A Soccer Player

If you are looking for a significant other, I guarantee the qualities that you will find in a soccer player are ones that you are looking for in your partner. Not only do these men and women know what it’s like to be seriously committed to something, but they know how to balance their time and tasks as well. Loving the game is something they have done since they were little and loving a significant other would be no different. So a soccer player is definitely the way to go because they are freaking awesome, and here’s why!

1. They are committed.

Soccer players have been committed to the game, teammates, and coaches since they were born. They practically came out of the womb kicking a soccer ball -- now, that is commitment!

2. They have time management skills.

These men and women know how to time manage, they have been dealing with school, their sport, friends, family and how to give each of them the right amount of attention. Meaning, they can fit you in, no problem. Hint: You’ll probably get a bulk of the attention.

3. Loving comes easy to them.

These people work out nonstop, every day, all day. You don’t even know how much they work out, so clearly they are gonna have a rockin’ bod after that. Rockin’ bods are the move, and you know you want one, so hey, date a soccer player.

5. They're healthy.

Due to their active lifestyles and healthy eating in order to perform well, these men and women are hella healthy. You won’t have to worry about health concerns or anything like that the entire time you are together.

6. They work well with others.

With their relationships and schoolwork, they know how to perform well and get the best out of what is given to them. This will help when knowing what to do for the best results in the relationship.

8. They know how to lose.

They have been defeated many a time. So whether it be losing an argument or losing in life in general, at the time, they won’t take it harshly. They will lose and lose with their heads high, letting you take the victory when you need to and deserve it.

9. They know how to win.

This is especially important if you are in a relationship with a soccer player who is hard-headed. They have won many times with huge championships and much more. So they know how to not rub it in your face when you’ve done something wrong. They’ll politely and quietly take their victory and move on.

10. Skill is definite.

Take this as you may (boys), soccer players possess incredible skills in a wide variety of areas. That is always a plus -- tons of skill, what’s not to like?

11. They aren't afraid to get dirty.

Whether it be going on an adventure or just playing backyard soccer with the fam, they know how to get dirty, and they don’t mind doing it. Being around those who love the same things as them, such as getting dirty, pleases them, and that is always a fun time!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
