Okay, let's be real for a moment. Joe Biden is easily the most underrated vice president ever. It's no secret that the VP's main job is to be president's hypeman and look cool, and no one does it better than Joe Biden. Over the last eight years, we've been blessed to have Biden in The White House. But now that the end is near, I think we need to take a step back and reflect on how truly awesome he has been.

1. He's a political superstar.

Joe Biden was first elected to the Senate when he was 29...even though you have to be 30 to be eligible. He was 30 at the time of his induction, though, so it was all good. He's spent more than half of his life in the Senate, too. He is still one of the most well-loved politicians, though. (Besides, would you look at that smile? He deserves the world.)

2. He loves ice cream almost as much as you do.

Look at how happy he is. He's just so cool (no pun intended). At a speech in Columbus, Ohio, Biden literally said "My name is Joe Biden, and I love ice cream. You all think I'm kidding — I'm not. I eat more ice cream than three other people you'd like to be with, all at once.” That's a direct quote. Just think about how fun it would be to eat ice cream together. That's the dream.

3. Literally, just look.

Honestly, so cool. That's the kind of "chill" you see from a movie star.

4. He welcomes immigrants.

According to a speech he gave, Biden sees immigrants (illegal or legal) as "already Americans". He's ripped Trump for promoting hate and intolerance towards immigrants.

5. He cares about the ladies.

Even before he was second in command, VP Biden has always been a champion for women. In 1990, he introduced the Violence Against Women Act, which changed the way our country responds to domestic violence. During his time as VP, he appointed the first ever White House Advisor on Violence Against Women. What a stud.

6. He uses the word "malarkey".

Come on, now. Any man who uses "malarkey" has to be a cool guy.

7. That time he made an appearance on Parks and Rec.

Goodness, my heart just melted when I watched this episode. To be 100% honest, I would probably react the exact same way as Leslie Knope if I met THE JOE BIDEN.

8. He lifts.

No further explanation needed.

9. His friendship with President Obama is too cute for words.

I hope one day to have the kind of bromance that Barack and Joe have. Not only are they one of the best president-vice president duos, they're literally BFF goals. No one love Barack more than Joe, and it shows. So sweet. Much cute.

10. He knows exactly how you feel about him and Obama leaving the White House.

It's been a real eight years and we're sad to see this dynamic duo leave. They've done so much while in office, like passing the Affordable Care Act, ending the war in Iraq, and investing in renewable energy sources. We can't deny another Obama-Biden term wouldn't be a dream, but they've made their time in the White House count.

11. He's sticking around for a while.

Even though he won't be living on Pennsylvania Avenue anymore, Biden has no plans to retire and play golf for the rest of his days. He plans to stay involved in activism and politics. Never leave, Joe. And never change.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
