Hip Hop Golden Age

Let's break it down; since the early 1990s, rap has made a big splash on the music scene. From Kanye West to Missy Elliot, rap music has come to shape our generation, and it will influence many more. Recently, there has been some speculated beef between two of the most decorated rap stars known today -- Eminem and Drake. Apparently, Eminem is ready with a diss track toward Drake, and Drake responded that if that were true, he has something lined up for Eminem as well. I hate to break it to you Drake, but this isn't Meek Mill. Here are 11 reasons why Drake's career would come to a crashing end if Eminem decided to diss him.

1. Eminem is the original "Rap God"

How can anyone even try to compete with someone with the title of Rap God that no one has challenged... Try again later Drake.

2. Drake doesn't write his own songs

It has been rumored that Drake doesn't even write his own songs. Get ready for a rocky ride ghost writers!

3. Slim Shady is and always will be more iconic than any Drake hit

This song is a classic staple to all rap lovers, and there is guaranteed no Drake song that could spill controversial rhymes like Slimy Shady does.

4. Eminem is immortal

Eminem just survived an assassination attempt from his own bodyguard... He'll put Drake back in his "Degrassi" wheelchair.

5. Eminem is a lyrical genius

Eminem is not afraid to rap what he feels. He may not be totally PC, and he may offend people, but his lyrics have always been a reason why Eminem is at the top. What does Drake have?

6. "8 Mile" versus "Degrassi"...

Eminem had a movie adapted from his life experience, Drake starred in a show for teenagers... do the math people! Who's more iconic?

7. Eminem slays every rap battle ever

Eminem made a whole diss track for Mariah Carey and slammed multiple celebrities in his songs. All Drake has done is competed in a mediocre rap battle against a mediocre rapper -- Meek Mill. Try again later Drake.

8. Eminem is still relevant... After more than 15 years

After over 15 years, Eminem is still a household name, all because of his raps. Sure, Drake may have been around for a little while, but his fame sprouted from "Degrassi," not from his raps.

9. Albums sold...

Eminem has sold 172 million albums, Drake has sold 10 million. That's all I have to say...

10. Grammy King?

Over Eminem's career, Eminem has won 15 Grammys. Drake on the other hand, only has one. One.

11. Eminem raps faster than I can think.

Anyone who has listened to Eminem knows that he could rap just about as fast as the speed of light, which is something Drake just cannot compete with. Sure, Drake has catchy top 40 bops, but he cannot rhyme like Eminem can...

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
