Facebook has recently added a new feature along with their "like" option. Supposedly, if you hold down the like button while "liking" a post, you can show a new reaction — a happy face, angry face or a surprised face. While this might be a fun new addition, Facebook has definitely left out some pretty significant reactions that a lot of us have IRL.
1. The winky face
They should have added this to bring a little bit more flirty-ness to it all. It would also be hilarious and fun to just send a cute little winky face.
2. A puppy face
Because there are those people who always post about their dog and, honestly, we all love it. I love it when I see an adorable pooch on my timeline.
3. A cat face
To tag along with the dog emoji, because we all have some cat people on our timelines too. Usually it is me.
4. The dislike button
Facebook users have been begging and screaming from the rooftops that we all want a dislike button. While it could possibly go very bad if we got one, can't Mark Zuckerberg just give the people what they want?
5. The baby face
Some people also like to constantly post about their children. It is only cute if you personally know the person, but I would definitely use this one the next time my friend posts a picture of her child.
6. The peace sign/flower
This is for all of those flower child/hippies out there. All they are doing is just trying to spread the love and peace through the world, man.
7. The sick face
You know the emoji that has the face mask on? I see people who post stuff from "Dr. Pimple Popper," and I do not enjoy those things at all. It doesn't help if I sometimes am scrolling through my feed while I am eating. Please keep the gross stuff to yourself.
8. An "I don't care" button
This goes along with the dislike button, but it is the honest truth. So many times I might see something and wonder, why would this remotely be something you would want to post? This was made for the people who post their entire life story on their page.
9. A "where did you get that outfit" button
While scrolling through our feed, we honestly see an outfit that we fall in love with. The next time someone posts their "OOTD," I would love to know where she got the pants she was wearing.
10. A food button
For all the people who still post their food on social media. Also, when people post about their pizza, it always makes me hungry and want pizza. Oh who am I kidding; I always want pizza.
11. Something to keep everything political off my timeline
I know this isn't a button or a reaction, but it honestly is something I wish I had. I don't want to be asked if I am "Feeling the Bern," and I also don't enjoy watching Trump make a fool out of himself, no matter how much I also don't like him. I just go to Facebook to catch up with friends and watch funny animal videos my friends post. Isn't that the point of Facebook anyway?
