As a clothing lover, I am always online looking at new trends on clothing stores’ websites. There are some styles that really bother me. Some pieces just make me wonder what would make people want to buy and wear them. I made a list of things I have seen people wear or in a store's display windows that I don't like. Just because they are popular doesn't mean they are cute!

Gladiator sandals

The sandals that have straps that go all the way up to your calf remind me so much of gladiators from ancient Rome.

Tops with holes in them

I don't get this style at all. When someone wears them it makes me think they got into a fight with an angry cat.

Temporary tattoos

These aren't clothes but they still get under my skin (get it). When people wear them for festivals they almost make it look like you have dirt on you.

Muscle tees

These are probably the most unflattering shirts a woman can wear. They aren't the nicest on men either.

70’s-style skirts

These are trendy now but I can’t get on the bandwagon because I feel like I'm in a time machine when I see them.

Platform shoes

I’m sorry, these are just very weird. And they must feel weird to walk on shoes that add about 4 inches to your height.

Chokers

I think chokers should go away forever. They were popular in the grungy 90s, why didn't they stay there?

Anything with fringe

Fringe reminds me of those things that spin in the car wash. That’s not cute.

Flower Crowns

Unless you are at Coachella, don't wear flower crowns. They really make no sense to me.

High neck swim tops

I can see how people would think they are pretty, but they are basically shirts. I don't want to know what the tan lines look like.

Birkenstocks

Birkenstocks are controversial, people either love them or hate them. I’ve heard that they are really comfortable, but they just don't look cute to me.
