As a kid I always remember wanting to be an adult and wanting to go to college. Now, I wish I hadn't spent all that time wishing my childhood away! College can be tough and every once in a while I wish I could go back to good old elementary school. Where life was simple and you didn't have to stress about one test that could possible ruin your entire future. You didn't have to make grown up decisions, you just had to decide what you wanted for lunch that day! A lot of times people say that a certain smell brings them back to their childhood, usually for me if I see something that reminds me of growing up it brings me right back to elementary school! Here are just a couple of pictures that bring me back to the days of elementary school!

1. Mr. Sketch Markers

They all smelled amazing except for the black kind, you avoided those ones at all cost.

2. The School Book Sale

One of the best days was when you could go to the book sale. It was the only place where five dollars could still buy you ten different things.

3. The Parachute Tent

This was known as the best day ever in gym class. If you never experienced this in elementary school I am very sorry.

4. Cedar Crest Ice Cream Cup

It was the perfect snack that you got on a hot day after recess. Who knew eating with a flat stick could be so fun? Side note: I never knew the name of this until now besides the fact I ate it pretty much ever chance I could during my childhood.

5. Paper Fortune Teller

Remember these things? Where they decided your fate for the rest of your entire life? Guess it didn't actually predict how you life would turn out...

6. Rectangle Pizza

I don't know who decided to make the pizza rectangle shaped but somehow it made it that much more delicious! This was pretty much the only school lunch that was enjoyable.

7. Cosmic Brownies

Literally a dessert from another world (hence the name). You were lucky if your mom packed this in your lunch.

8. Timed Math Tests

This is probably where my anxiety about math started from.

9. The Stussy S

Writing these everywhere because you were instantly cool if you had these drawn all over your folders and backpack.

10. Gym Class Scooters

If you had long hair you know the struggle of trying to keep your hair out of the wheels and the pain when you got your hair caught in the wheel.

11. Shape Blocks

I honestly don't know the names to these shape blocks but I remember they were a blast to play with and make cool designs out of.
