If you're anything like me, you spend most of your time scrolling through Instagram and wanting to dive into each and every beautiful destination of the traveller accounts. I always find myself getting a serious case of wanderlust! Although I've only listed eleven, there are so many globetrotter accounts out there, these are only a few of my favorites. I hope these adventure enthusiasts inspire you, like they have me, to put down the phone and go to on these incredible endeavors yourself.
1. @bronzeandbriny
This is by far one of my favorite Instagram accounts. This traveler finds herself mainly on the coasts, but occasionally comes inland as well. If you love the water and tropical locations, this account is definitely for you! Take one scroll through these pictures and you’ll be able to feel the warm sand beneath your feet and the sun on your shoulders.
2. @tuulavintage
I find myself very drawn to this account because after my first scroll through, I felt warmth in my chest and the feeling as if I, myself, was there. Her pictures give you a taste of both the tropics and the countryside. It’s a perfect fit for anyone!
3. @worldwanderlust
Brooke, age 24, is a full-time traveler. I find this account more inspirational for young girls to travel. She’s constantly sharing her adventures from breathtaking destinations around the world.
4. @roundtheworldgirl
The travel bug seemed to bite Elise pretty early on in life. Ever since she was little, she can remember being outside and exploring the beautiful world around her. You can find her anywhere from the beautiful coastlines to the majestic countrysides.
5. @muradosmann
This is another one of my favorite Instagram accounts, one that is known for starting the #followmeto project. Always hand-in-hand with his girlfriend, Natalia Zakharova, they travel around the world, capturing moments that never fail to take your breath away.
6. @theblondeabroad
Kiersten is a travel and style blogger from California. Her stream contains fun, colorful photos of food and festivals on her travels. The photos take on a creative personality that make you only want to see more. Whether it’s laying by the beach in a bikini or bundled up snowboarding down the slopes, her account has it all!
7. @visualpassport
Travel blogger, Amanda, manages to capture moments and scenes that will never seize to amaze you! Her vibrant photographs make you want to jump right through your screen in the picture and be wherever that magical moment was taking place.
8. @darlingescapes
This is an inspiring account for women travelers. This feed features all sorts of female globetrotters and shares their incredible experiences. If you want to be featured on their account, post a photo using #darlingescapes!
9. @backpackerstory
This account inspires their followers to share their own backpacking adventures! The feed is made up of all the adventurists out there who use #backpackerstory on their shares. So be sure to use #backpackerstory next time you’re showing the world the incredible adventure you’re on! This is a great account for those who are into the backpacking scene.
10. @kirstenalana
Although Kirsten has found herself settled down in New York City, she still hasn’t stopped traveling. She’s constantly blogging about her trips and describers her mission as inspiring “people to take ownership of making the world a better place.” Her stream captures various elements from food and people to architecture and scenery.
11. @expertvagabond
This travel blogger and photographer loves to capture landscapes and all the adventures he embarks on. All his photographs tell the stories for themselves; one glance at them and you’ll immediately be drawn to his stream. From scuba diving around the world, hitchhiking across the United States, photographing northern lights in the arctic, to trekking secluded mountain ranges, this account covers it all.
