The life of a sorority girl is often full of adventures. From wine nights to fundraisers and yes...even crafting, our lives can be hectic. But within all the chaos we still manage to balance friends, school work, normal work, and our friendships. No matter how hectic things can get though, one thing is for sure: being part of a sorority is the most awesome thing in the world. Sometimes gifs capture the sorority life perfectly, just like these.

1. Opening your bid to the sorority of your dreams and feeling like a boss

The first and most important step to starting your new life as a sorority sister, opening up that envelope and feeling as if your being showered with tons of little confetti for all to see.

2. The proud moment of discovering you now have your very own big!

From now on you have someone that's going to be all yours 24/7. They are the big to your little and the Squishy to your Dory.

3. When you walk into a frat and greet all your sisters like

Maybe it comes from the immense love for your sisters of the bottle of wine you drank at the pregame, but either way your damn sure excited to see your sisters out together.

4. Dealing with the excitement of getting to show off your letters

After waiting what seems like forever, finally your initiated and get to work your letters! Yes, I know I've worn letters every day for two weeks straight but I love my sorority so sorry not sorry.

5. Then the crafting begins...

Until joining, you never knew just how bad you needed 5 pounds of glitter to be in your life. Once joining its as if your inner Martha Stewart has been summoned and suddenly your spending all your paycheck on crafts and paint.

6. Not being able to contain your hype for your very first formal and finding yourself dancing much like this

If you think the dancing is bad now, just wait for formal.

7. When you're drunk and your sisters want to leave the party but you don't so you hit them with the sisterhood guilt trip

Sisterhood means no sister left behind, especially when you're a little tipsy.

8. Then there's the fundraising you'll do, in which you'll be on the prowl for donations for your donations

You're on a mission to raise money and you wont stop until you get that goal dammit!

9. Taking your sister's secrets to your grave and promising never to judge them for it

No matter how crazy the secret, they're your sisters and that means never embarrassing them. (However, sometimes a little joking around in the group chat won't hurt)

10. Always supporting each other when an outsider tries to say something negative

The haters are gonna hate, but you can't let them get away with dissing your sisters. Together you stand as powerful women who always have each others backs.

11. Going home at the end of the day in pure bliss with your sisters, knowing just how lucky you are to have each other

Whether you argue at times, you know that these girls are the best friends you have in the world and that means the world to you. Realizing the support system you have behind you is one of the greatest things your sorority can give you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
