Admit it: everyone loves to have a lazy weekend every once in a while. Not too much work to do, comfy clothes, Netflix binge sessions: just a few of the perfect components of a relaxing weekend. While you may get to a point where you regret doing absolutely nothing with your weekend, you just got to pull through and finish out this weekend to prove that you can go 2.5 days without accomplishing a single thing.

1) When you get home from class/work Friday afternoon and change into sweats

Is there any better feeling then slipping out of jeans or real pants and its pillows for your legs?

2) Calling to order takeout from your favorite place and eagerly awaiting for it to arrive at your door

You're also not ashamed if the caller knows your regular order or already has your phone number and address saved in the system. It's also okay to order online to have one less person to be forced to talk to.

3) When the delivery guy gets here and you literally sprint to the door

You've sometimes startled the guy by opening the door .5 seconds after he rang the door bell

4) When you just sleep on the couch so that way when you wake up in the morning you can pick up where you left off

And if you're spending your lazy weekend in your bed, it makes the transition from binge watching to sleeping to binge watching so much easier.

5) When you wake up and have to debate if it's too early to reheat your leftovers from the night before (if there is any)

Is 9 a.m. too early for some leftover Lo Mein or some cold pizza? Maybe just get through one episode before creeping to the fridge.

6) When its halfway through Saturday and you already finished the show you thought would take you all weekend.

Now comes the ultimate debate of what to spend the next day and a half watching. Is it worth it watch a whole new show or should you just rewatch an old fave? Decisions, decisions.

7) When it's starting to hit dinner time and you got to decide if you want to eat greasy takeout again or try to find something a little healthier

Don't kid yourself, just pick up the phone and make the call.

8) When people try to make plans with you but you come up with an excuse to stay at home

You'll try to make up some excuse but eventually you might just tell them the truth that you're wayyyyy too lazy to move off the couch.

9) When you get to a point where you look around and realize you're in the same sweatpants as Friday night

Lazy weekends justify wearing the same outfit for multiple days in a row.

10) When you remember something that you probably should've gotten done, but just pretend to forget about it

You know, it just wasn't meant to get done this weekend and that's a-okay

11) When it gets to late Sunday night and you realize you haven't showered since Friday morning (or Thursday night...)

At this point, you might as well wait until Monday morning, there's no point in ruining your perfect lazy weekend by preparing for the week to come.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
