Saturdays are arguably the best day of the week. For most of us, these amazing days are relaxed and free (I'm so sorry if your Saturdays are incredibly busy). I know I spend my Saturdays cleaning and doing laundry, but once all the chores are done, I like to listen to these songs to unwind and embrace that lazy day mood.

1. "Solo" by Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean is known for his powerful lyrics and this is no exception. "Solo" will leave you feeling relaxed and in the mood to write a song of your own.

Favorite Line: It's hell on Earth and the city's on fire. Inhale, inhale, there's heaven.

2. "Jealous" by Labrinth

"Jealous" is the perfect combination of a sad break up song and a heartfelt ballad. You won't leave this song leaving heartbroken how ever. If your heart hurts, this song will help to heal you a little bit.

Favorite Line: But I always thought you'd come back, tell me all you found was heartbreak and misery.

3. "Berlin" by RX Y

"Berlin" only has three verses and it has no chorus. It's short and quiet but the words are powerful and moving. It's the perfect song to listen to in the background of your weekend chores and homework.

Favorite Line: Sorry love I'm running home. I'm a child of sun and the stars I love.

4. "You and I" by Ingrid Michaelson

This is where my love of the ukulele shows through. "You and I" is short and sweet and will leave you feeling upbeat and ready to go on some Saturday afternoon adventures with your friends and family

Favorite Line: Don't you worry there my honey we might not have any money but we've got our love to pay the bills.

5. "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova

Falling Slowly really strikes home for me because its a pleasant reminder that love doesn't always strike you all at once and it usually takes its sweet time to develop fully. This is the perfect song to send to your crush with a "This reminds me of you" text. Or maybe not, you decide.

Favorite Line: Take this sinking boat and point it home. We've still got time.

6. "Rivers and Roads" by The Head and the Heart

"Rivers and Roads" is the perfect song for those Saturdays that you miss your friends who are far away from you. It's a good reminder that you can always find your way back to the people you love.

Favorite Line: Nothin' is as it has been. And I miss your face like hell. And I guess it's just as well. But I miss your face like hell.

7. "I Think It's Going To Rain Today" by Tom Odell

Originally by Randy Newman, Tom Odell's cover of "I Think It's Going To Rain Today" is so simple and beautiful. It speaks to those who are feeling sad or lonely even when surrounded by people. It's okay to be sad for no reason, but remember that rain isn't always a bad thing.

Favorite Line: Human kindness is overflowing. And I think it's going to rain today.

8. "Your Song" by Ellie Goudling

Another cover, "Your Song" is originally by Elton John. Ellie Goulding offers a sweet and simple twist on this classic. She indie-like voice and her moving phrasing hits home every time.

Favorite Line: I hope you don't mind that I put down in words, how wonderful life is while you're in the world.

9. "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran

"I See Fire" was written for The Hobbit, so there are many odd references included that may confuse people who are no familiar with "The Lord of The Rings". However, this song speaks to brother and sisterhood and the idea of sticking together through thick and thin, no matter what.

Favorite Line: Calling out father oh. Stand by and we will watch the flames burn auburn on the mountain side.

10. "And So It Goes" by Billy Joel

"And So It Goes" is by far by favorite song of all time. Billy Joel is speaking to the broken with this song. While this song has the tendency to make people cry, keep in mind that this isn't just a breakup song. It states that heartbreak is a part of the way life goes. Just because you've lost love, doesn't mean that it will never come along again.

Favorite Line: But if my silence made you leave, then that would be my worst mistake. So I will share this room with you and you can have this heart to break.

11. "Capsize" by FRENSHIP and Emily Warren

This one is on the more upbeat side of a "chill vibe" song but it definitely fits the mood. FRENSHIP and Emily Warren blend perfectly in the song. In my opinion, this is the perfect song to do homework to on a Saturday. (Come on, we can't be lazy all day)

Favorite Line: And three words have never come easy, cause you're more than they ever could be.

12. "Wasted Love" by Matt McAndrew

Matt McAndrews was a contestant on The Voice (who should have won, by the way). And this song comes from his EP, "Rush in Slowly". This song asks if if anyone has seen his wasted love and how he is determined to find it no matter what.

Favorite Line: Knocking down doors and I'm pounding the pavement. Lie at your mercy, will somebody save me? Save me.

13. "Million Years Ago" by Adele

Adele is the queen of power ballads, but in "Million Years Ago", she shows a lot of restraint. Instead of a love song or heartbreak song, this song is all about wanting to live your life the way you've always wanted to. Listen to this song and remember that while life might beat you down, you can always get back up.

Favorite Line: I wish I could live a little more. Look up to the sky not just the floor.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
