Have you ever wanted to do something amazing in Tennessee but never could think of anything? Here is a list of 11 amazing places to visit on your next road trip!

1. Cummins Falls State Park - Cookeville, TN

This place is for waterfall lovers. The beautiful vistas of nature are the perfect sight. I will try to visit this place soon!

2. Walking Bridge at Foxfire Mountain - Sevierville, TN


I think this one is a little scary, in my opinion. But I think this destination is worth the time and money! It's an amazing mountain and it's in a great area. Sources say it's the largest swinging bridge in the United States! But, along with the bridge, there are all kinds of adventurous things at this location.

3. World's Largest Treehouse - Crossville, TN


Not only is it the largest treehouse in Tennessee, but it's also the largest treehouse in the world! It's beautiful. It's breathtaking. It's worth it.

4. The Lost Sea - Sweetwater, TN


This destination is actually an adventure through a cave. You take a boat on the water and go deep into the caves. The tour guides also help create an unforgettable experience.

5. Leiper's Fork, TN


This is an itty-bitty town that is the perfect destination for someone looking for that country town. Its population is only around 600, but it's a place worth visiting!

6. Downtown Franklin, TN


Downtown Franklin is for the city lovers. It has just about everything. Also, if you love photography, it's great for photoshoots. The locations are perfect. A few friends and I walked around for hours with our cameras.

7. Cahoot's Restaurant - Fayetteville, TN


Have you ever imagined you would be eating a nice meal in a jail cell? Go to this restaurant and you will be in the same jail cells as prisoners from years ago! Customers eat their delicious meals while sitting in an actual old jailhouse.

8. Cotton Museum - Memphis, TN


If you like history, this museum is for you because it covers a lot of the American history within the realm of cotton. If you hate history, this museum is for you because it is just awesome. There are all kinds of things made from cotton!

9. Adventure Science Center - Nashville, TN


This place has something for everyone. The space area has replicas and interactive zones from walkways to games. The possibilities are endless. And the cornerstone of the entire thing is a huge playground!

10. Geocaching - Anywhere


If you want an interactive scavenger hunt, all you have to do is download the app onto your phone! There are all kinds of treasures around you that you may even walk past every day! Get a group of friends together and search!

11. Visit your grandma, even if she isn't in Tennessee


I'm sure she would enjoy the visit. And you may love it, too!
