Recruitment is just around the corner and that means so is Big Little Week. This can be a stressful time for many girls who aren't gifted with artistic abilities. Who decided you have to make creative artwork for your Little because honestly I'm feeling so victimized right now. Pinterest really sets the bar high with intricate artwork that you will never ever be able to replicate. So, instead of wasting money on buying canvases, paint, glitter, etc. (that you will inevitably get frustrated with and throw in the trash) here are 11 other good ways to spoil your little.

1. Jewelry

Get your future Little something they can wear all the time. Etsy has a lot of options for necklaces, bracelets and rings for any sorority. You could even customize a necklace with their name on it, much more thoughtful than a messy canvas.

2. Food

Who wouldn't want to receive food? Whether it's their favorite candy, cookies or a large pepperoni pizza – this is one gift any girl would love to receive.

3. Sorority banner

You can decorate your Little's room with these cute already made banners. Don't even try crafting your own sign when you can easily purchase one that is already made. Buy it here.

4. Clothes

Spoiling your Little with clothes is a great idea, they will get a ton of pass downs, but let's be real you're passing them down because you don't like them. Buy them something new that they will love, The Social Life has a wide range of any type of clothing you want. It's hard to not end up buying something for yourself. Trust me.

5. Flash tats

Flash tattoos are still a thing, right? Make your Little trendy, watch out soon enough she'll be at Coachella and Insta famous. Etsy has a wide range of flash tat options you can customize for your sorority.

6. Hair ties

Who wants a black hair band around their wrist cutting off their circulation? No one. Get your Little sorority hair ties from The Social Life so they can get a gift they will constantly be using.

7. Canvases

She doesn't have to know how unartistic you are. Check out Etsy to find a canvas you can pass as your own. You thought about making a canvas so it's not that bad right?

8. Throw Pillows

So that her dorm room will look complete. A ton of canvases will make her dorm room look cluttered and messy, but a cute throw pillow could liven the entire room. Be her personal interior designer.

9. Giftcards

Know her favorite places to go? Get her a gift card! She'd much rather have a venti Starbucks drink anyway.

10. Monogrammed wine glass

Cheers to you, Cheers to me, Big and Little we'll always be. Something that she will actually use and appreciate. Etsy offers a wide variety of styles for reasonable prices.

11. Light Up Letters

Why paint your own letters when you can buy even cooler light up letters? You could do her initials or your sorority letters.

Now you no longer have an excuse for not providing your little with the greatest Big or Little basket ever. No more of your blood, sweat, and tears will go into creating a train wreck DIY gift. This is an exciting time for both you and your little so make it special. There are so many different options that aren't any more expensive than craft supplies. Here's to all my non-artistic gals, good luck ladies!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
