We all go through times of sadness throughout our lives; some people experience this worse than others. Many people have the idea in their heads that you cannot be a Christian and suffer from depression. Why would God allow you to have a mental illness if he is so ‘perfect’? The truth is, anybody can suffer from any type of illness, both mental and physical. We as Christians are not perfect. God puts us through everything for a reason and sometimes he puts us through hardships so we can grow closer to him. Whether you are suffering from depression or just having a bad day, these are some of my favorite Bible Verses to turn to. Remember that God is always with you and you are never alone!
