“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is the best show on Netflix that you may not be watching. I’m pretty surprised when I meet people who haven’t heard of it. Season two just premiered on April 15, so there are plenty of episodes for you to binge-watch. You know, exactly what you’d rather do than even acknowledge the fact that finals are coming up sooner that we would like to admit. If you’re one of the people who haven’t been watching, here are 10 reasons why you’re seriously missing out.
1. First of all, it’s hilarious.
Obviously. I wouldn't recommend it to you if it wasn't!
2. Titus Andromedon - who is just as, if not more than, important as number one.
Titus is the best thing since sliced bread. He says everything that we are all thinking.
3. The things that Kimmy says.
Her advice and insults will have you reeling. I use them in everyday life now. No shame.
4. The show's theme song.
You'll be walking around singing "Unbreakable" to yourself for days.
5. Tina Fey.
I really don’t think I even need to say anything about why Tina Fey is a goddess or why her involvement in the show gives it a gold star before you even watch a single episode.
6. Kimmy in general.
OK, so we all weren’t mole women — but Kimmy adjusting to the world as an adult is definitely all of us. Most people won’t admit it, but we’re all almost as clueless as Kimmy is. Kimmy lets us know that it’s OK to be ourselves and to try new things.
7. You can do anything for 10 seconds.
Kimmy’s motto is really something that we should all be taking to heart. Plus, I can basically guarantee that you’ll definitely be wanting to watch this show for way longer than 10 seconds.
8. The guest stars.
They’ll pop up where you least expect them to and you’ll be grateful they did. Season two is jam packed with them. I won’t spoil the one's in season one for you, but you’ll really want to watch for them.
9. Because females are strong as hell.
As if you needed a reminder of that. Well, actually, some of us do. If anyone can remind you of it constantly, it's Kimmy Schmidt. You'll not only laugh while watching this show, you'll learn some truly valuable lessons that can help you make it through anything.
10. Last, but most certainly not least, "Peeno Noir."
You’re probably wondering why I didn’t put this under number two, because it relates to Titus. However, because this song is straight fire, it definitely deserves its own recognition.
