YouTube has often been my saving grace when I need a 'pick-me-up' after a long day. It is where many Youtubers have found a safe haven when they felt like they didn't belong anywhere else. I will go as far as to say that YouTube is one of the best websites that was ever created. It is a news outlet and a creative outlet, tied into one. This is a big "thank you" to YouTube, for all of the smiles you have provided me with for years. These are 10 YouTube Channels in particular that have made me smile:
1. Buzzfeed
Buzzfeed is the ultimate YouTube channel made up of several different ones. Buzzfeed, as many avid internet users know, is a website with articles, videos, quizzes, and more.
2. Fine Brothers Entertainment
The Fine Brothers do several different types of videos. My favorite videos are the 'React' videos, where they have kids, teens, elders, adults, or youtubers react to videos, technology, or current events.
3. Good Mythical Morning
I mostly use this page to watch the "Will it smoothie, taco, jello, etc" videos. Rhett and Link take different foods and try and see if they can be transformed into another food. Everything they do is hysterical, and they're great to watch if you need a good laugh.
4. Connor Franta
Connor Franta is what you would call a "vlogger." His videos are quite diverse in topic, and sometimes, he teams up with other vloggers to do "challenge" videos. The video he made about his sexual orientation is a must watch for anyone who is struggling with their own sexual identity.
5. Tyler Oakley
Tyler Oakley is an inspiration for anyone that has a hard time with being their true self. He is authentic, hilarious, and his smile is contagious. He is not only a vlogger, but also an LGBT activist. His lovely personality could cheer anyone up on even the worst of days.
6. Facts.
This channel is very similar to Buzzfeed. In fact, I would say that it is like watching the Irish version of Buzzfeed.
7. Superwoman
Superwoman (Lilly) was one of the first youtubers that I found when I started using YouTube. Her videos are extremely creative. Especially, the ones where she dresses as her parents and mimics what she thinks they would do in certain situations.
8. MyHarto
Hannah Hart does videos where she talks about life. She also has a video series called "My Drunk Kitchen," which happens to be some of the best content on YouTube. If you have ever wondered what it's like to have a few drinks and then trying to cook something, I highly recommend watching these videos.
9. Paint
Jon Cozart, the man behind this channel, is phenomenal. He takes different topics (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Disney) and sings acapella songs relating to them. The videos are often informative, or in the case of the Disney Princess songs, address issues that we are facing in the world through the stories of the Disney Princesses. If you enjoy singing and having a good laugh, check this channel out!
10. YourMovieSucksDOTorg
I was just recently introduced to this channel, and if you don't mind some of your favorite movies getting ripped apart, this channel is actually quite funny. It points out flaws in movies that you would have never noticed otherwise, and it does so in a humorous way. Warning: If you are a sensitive person, these videos may not be your best bet.
