Disney Channel is a childhood staple. As a kid, you HAD to have watched some form of Disney Channel whether it was a TV show, cartoon, movie, etc. These TV shows, cartoons, and movies made us laugh, go on adventures, and see a world outside our own where blonde twins race luggage carts and red-headed cheerleaders save the world from evil. It's impossible not to love Disney Channel and here are 10 ways you know you definitely grew up a Disney Channel kid.

1) You got HYPED when you saw this

(GIPHY)

"Let's watch a Disney Channel movie!" You always knew something good was coming after this and probably always hoped for your favorite.

2) Mixed shows

(GIPHY)

When things like this happened it was the best day of your life. Easily the best episodes, ever.

3) Disneychannel.com

(GIPHY)

These games could provide hours of entertainment and honestly, it's a tragedy they're not still there to play; RIP Stitch Speed Chase and 625 Sandwich Stacker.

4) Disney 365

(GIPHY)

Clearly the most trustworthy news service in the game. This is where you got all the gossip and important news for the week.

5) "And you're watching Disney Channel"

(GIPHY)

You've definitely tried this out yourself once or twice wondering how cool it would be to actually do it in real life. Even if you couldn't you would hope to see your favorite characters do it.

6) The Disney Channel Games(GIPHY)

Obviously this was even better than the Olympics. Michael Phelps has nothing on David Henry.

7) Birthday parties

(GIPHY)

If you didn't have at least one birthday party themed with your favorite show, you did it wrong.

8) Radio Disney

(GIPHY)

All your favorite stars in one place, singing, what could be better?

9) There's 104 days of summer vacation

(GIPHY)

Knowing every single word to this song was what made it so much fun. I don;t know where they lived, but having 104 days of summer vacation sounded amazing.

10) The big screen

(GIPHY)

And of course, when your favorite show or star made it big time, you always went to go see them in theaters; it's only right.

Whether you were a hardo or just watched a little here and there, Disney made an impression on all of us because at the end of the day, we're all in this together!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
