The sun is out, birds are chirping and bees have begun buzzing around. Spring has finally arrived! After a long, cold winter, and seemingly endless months of dreary mud season, we have arrived AT the light at the end of the tunnel. Take advantage of it, and get out into the sunshine. Here are a few ways to ring in spring.
1. Study outside.
Sit at a picnic table or lay a blanket on the grass. Put a relaxing, sunshine-filled spin on studying for finals.
2. Go for a hike.
If you're lucky enough to live near mountains or even nice trails, explore them!
3. Go for a run.
Start getting your summer body in gear, while enjoying the warmth at the same time.
4. Go to a farmer's market.
Grab some fresh fruit and sweet-smelling flowers to bring the gorgeous weather inside your dorm room.
5. Drive with the windows down and sunroof open.
Whether or not you have a destination, blast the music, roll the windows down and welcome spring.
6. Shop at an outdoor plaza.
Inside of wasting away in the mall, start accumulating your spring/summer wardrobe while getting inspiration from the sun.
7. BBQ.
Say goodbye to soups and roast dinners, and hello to grilled deliciousness.
8. Play yard games.
Break out KanJam, bocce, spike ball, play catch, or pass around a soccer ball.
9. Walk your dog (or cat, or whatever).
The nice weather is not just exciting for you, your pets are thrilled as well!
10. Hit the beach.
Even if it is not sunny and 75 yet, it's never too early to enjoy the sea and sand. Go for a stroll or sit and enjoy the sun.
