10 Of The Most Underrated Songs According To Me
Fanpop.com

We all have our own taste in music, but most of us are familiar with the current top 40 hits. Though there are some of us that think it's cool to exclusively jam to those, most of us have some hidden gems on our Apple Music playlists. Here are some of my favorite songs that I think are horribly underrated or forgotten.

1. "Womanizer" - Britney Spears

This song falls under both categories, underrated AND forgotten. This 2008 chart-topper was one of my favorite songs, complete with a sexy and controversial video. The more experience I've had in life, the more I think that this song is so relevant and everyone should be singing it all the time. Forget the term F***boy; we need to bring back Womanizer (and it sounds nicer).

2. "Smoke Filled Room" - Mako

Underrated is an understatement. Even though many people can be instantly turned off when I say that it's EDM, please give it a chance. It is the song you didn't know you needed in your life and it has a perfect balance of dance and romance, not to mention that it is perfect to blast in a car on a date. Wink.

3. "Coffee" - Miguel

I have said it once and I will say it again. Miguel is one of the most underrated artists of the present day. His music is equally as romantic as it is sexy, and this song is a perfect example. Coffee is one of those songs that you listen to on repeat when you first think you're in love and you think of all that could be if things work out. The best part of the entire song is the chorus when he sings,

"Wordplay, turns into gun play
And gun play turns into pillow talk
And pillow talk turns into sweet dreams
Sweet dreams turns into [coffee] in the morning"

Like, come on. Just listen to it. I promise you won't regret it.

4. "In My Room" - Yellow Claw & DJ Mustard (feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Tyga)

OH. MY. GOSH. Another wildly underrated song. If you don't think this is the best jam in the history of ever, you're wrong. This song will, without a doubt, make every cell in your body come alive and want to get off your lazy butt to dance from start to finish. If there is any song on this list that I could force you to listen to, it would be this one. We need to get this one in the clubs ASAP because you better believe that everyone will be raving. It sparked by love of trap music and I bet it'll do the same for you.

5. "Ocean Drive" - Duke Dumont

Driving at night is one of the most relaxing things I have done, and this song goes together with that like peas and carrots. This is one of the most chill songs I have heard in a long time. Keep slaying, Duke.

6. "Liquor" - Chris Brown

I have to say, Breezy's newest album, titled "Royalty" after his daughter, is FIRE. "Liquor" was the first single from the album released last June and I think it has been overlooked as perhaps one of his best songs yet. Sexy, sultry, and slow, "Liquor" is definitely a song to add to your ... nighttime ... playlist ;)

7. "Gooey" - Glass Animals

Probably the strangest song you will ever listen to, Gooey is one of the best. Also a great selection for the bedroom playlist, this song features some interesting noises accompanied by words that make no sense, but that's the beauty of it. The words don't matter; it's the feeling the song gives to the room it is played in that makes it great.

8. "Make U Love Me" - Robin Thicke

Don't laugh. Robin Thicke is actually amazing. I tend to be biased toward sexy music, but this is one of my favorites because it is in anticipation of sex. The title says it all because it is about him wanting to entice his lover to make it impossible for them to leave because they fall in love with his ... abilities.

9. "No Hands" - Waka Flocka Flame (feat. Roscoe Dash & Wale)

This song was unfortunately one of the forgotten. If I don't hear this in a club at some point in my life, I will have failed. This is easily one of the easiest songs to get down to, so I beg any DJs to please keep this alive.

10. "Lapdance" - N.E.R.D.

If you have ever heard this song, you know that it is as ridiculous as it sounds, but that's what makes it awesome. It's one of the most danceable songs I have encountered because you can just move your body randomly and it totally works with the song. Excellent job to everyone involved in this one.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
