Have you ever felt a lull when finishing a TV show on Netflix and right away begin searching for something to fill that void? Well, look no further. Yours truly has already seen all of the television shows listed below and can confirm two things:
First: Each show is fairly easy to watch. For example, I watched the first season of "Once Upon a Time" and skipped the second season because it was unbelievably boring. Second: As of July 2015, all of the shows listed are available on Netflix. I can’t count how many times I have tried to watch a show that I read about, that is supposedly on Netflix, but isn’t. Anyway, listed below are a few shows that should tide you over before the end of summer break.
1) "Royal Pains"
Dr. Hank Lawson is a top ER doctor in Manhattan, who accidentally lets a hospital trustee die while saving a young man from cardiac arrest. He ultimately is let go from the hospital and is blackballed from every ER in New York City. His comical younger brother Evan R. Lawson, a CPA, drags Hank out to the Hamptons during Memorial Day Weekend. While there, Hank saves the life of young woman at a glamorous Gatsby-like party hosted by the mysterious Boris Von Jurgens-Ratenicz, who in return rewards him with a gold bar and the opportunity to become his concierge doctor. The remainder of the show follows Hank, as he becomes the Hampton’s go-to concierge doctor. Viewers can watch the growing bond between him and his brother, his romantic woes with various women, and why Boris is the way he is.
