10 Things You Know To Be True If Your Life Is Going In The Right Direction

You have a plan

You know what you want out of life and you have a goal that you are working hard towards

You have hit rock bottom

You can’t be grateful for the happiness without experiencing your life fall apart

You are happy

After experiencing all that sadness - you can recognize when you are truly happy.

You have a good group of supportive friends

Anyone can party with you, but these friends are here to hold your hair at the end of the night and talk you through your depression in the morning.

You’re excited for your future

You wake up every day more excited, knowing that you are one day closer to your goals.

You do something that’s fulfilling

Whether it’s school, a job, or both, you feel as though you are fulfilling a need you have.

You know yourself

You know what you need and want out of your life and you are not afraid to advocate for it.

You are happy with who you are

You are comfortable expressing who you are and don’t want to change anything about yourself. You recognize that your flaws are what makes you unique.

You are independent

You enjoy the company of your friends and you appreciate your family for getting you where you are today, but you know that you can take care of yourself without them.

You find the positive in everything

Your friends may find it annoying how optimistic you are, but you find the good in everything. Like your best friend should not regret her past relationship because it taught her many things about herself.
